This apartment complex is a large old building converted into lofts around 1200 square feet or larger per unit and we occupied a ADA disabled compliant unit. When we moved in the place was dirty the oven looked like had been on fire and took me hours to clean which was very hard for me to do with my disabilities. The fridge was nasty. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The place looked like they had thrown up a coat of paint and cleaned the carpet but they marked it down as new carpet but it was not new as there were three kool-aid stains still on it that did not come up until we cleaned the carpets before we moved out of the apartment. When we moved in the kitchen faucet was leaking and the lazy maintenance man told us that the seals had dried out and it would stop in a couple weeks but the unit has supposedly only been empty barely a month when we moved in and seals do not dry out that fast. It was spraying water completely across the kitchen and causing a serious fall hazard for my husband. It took from June until September before they finally fixed that problem. We had also been telling them that the dishwasher was not working as well this whole time but it took them until September before they would declare it was broken to but then there was some kind of lie between him and the landlord as to who said it needed to be replaced as we kept asking what the status was on our new dishwasher and kept getting the run around about it until it finally came out that the unit had never actually been ordered but the landlord kept telling us that there was no word on it. They finally told us that our lease was in jeapardy and we are only into it 6 months of the way. They forced us out in a two week period of time when we were a quiet couple after the maintenance man attacked me in the office and the landlord lied to the police as to what happened. If you do not fit into the click there you will not ever like living at this apartment building. Please take my advice on this! You need money or to be a very out going person and not one that keeps to themselves to live in this building for it to work out.
