We are a construction LLC specializing in most all types of home repair, remodeling and construction. When founded, fences and decks were our focal point and staying true to our roots we still love to take on either of those. But now, we can also build your house from the dirt up! We typically employee anywhere from 2 to 10 employees at any given time. Some services are sub-contracted such as major electrical, major roofing and major plumbing. Typically it is customary to pay half of the agreed upon price up front and the remainder when the job is completed to your satisfaction.

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

A high-quality wrought iron fence should last you a lifetime, but it will require some TLC on your end. Wrought iron fences are incredibly strong and durable, but they can be susceptible to rust and corrosion, so you’ll need to clean and refinish your fence every two to three years. If you notice rust developing, hire a professional fence repair company to clean the rust and reseal the area of fencing to prolong its life span.

Galvanized metal, vinyl, and composite fences are known to last the longest out of all types of fences. These fence types will last well over 30 years with proper care. Galvanized metal doesn’t attract pests and has a special coating to better withstand weather. Vinyl and composite materials are pest-resistent and will withstand harsh weather for many years.

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.

Wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum are common materials. Choose based on durability, maintenance needs, and aesthetics.

Yes, fence posts need to be installed below the frost line to ensure stability and prevent heaving caused by freezing and thawing cycles. The frost line is the depth at which soil freezes during winter. By placing posts below this line, often around 3 to 4 feet deep or as recommended for your specific region, you reduce the risk of the ground shifting, which can lead to leaning or unstable fences. Adequate depth provides better anchoring and helps maintain the fence's integrity, ensuring it remains secure and upright throughout changing seasons.
