Jalisco's Mexican Restaurant

When we entered, the owners were so busy talking to people that the doorway was crowded and we had to "wait" for them to decide to finish "talking". Then we sat down and a young boy took our drink orders and no one greeted us, brought chips/salsa or took an appetizer order for about 10 minutes. When the girl finally did bring the chips, I asked if she was our waitress because we know what we want and she rudely and snootily said "no". Then we waited almost 10 minutes again before the waiter decided to take our order. He didn't seem very interested either. Those 2 people began talking to his family loudly for the remainder of our visit. He never asked if we wanted drink refills or checked on us once. We had to wait for our check once we were done eating. Then we had to wait for someone to cash us out! The entire staff was visiting with people, walking past us like we weren't there. Then they decided to have a birthday party for one of their staff so we had to "wait" to pay our bill. Seriously---We work in foodservice ourselves and there was nothing done correctly. I shouldn't have paid but I did. The food was good and I was looking for a new place to gather but I sure won't be doing it there!!! I'll have to be honest if anyone asks me to join them there in future. :(
