On 5/7/l3 I replaced aging heat and air unit with a Trane package. We are now in our 8th week of trying to stop the condensate leak running into my garage, down my stairs and drywall, carpet, etc. The garage smells, stuff that was organized is all over the place to avoid water damage, and my contractor is at his wits end to find the problem (this is the 9th week we have tried...replacing condensate lines, coils, checking air pressure, checking air flow, etc. ). Trane can't figure it out, my contractor has been a jewel, but I am in need of Valium. I have lived in this house 22 years and it is 33 years old and never had this problem with a York, Armstrong, etc. My neighbors don't have a problem (that they know of) but HAVE had to have repairs done on their units during warranty period. My advice is if you have a heat unit inside and the a/c unit outside (split package), DO NOT USE TRANE PRODUCTS. "Nothing runs like a Trane"...silly me, I thought it meant heat/air....not water!!!
Description of Work: Replaced total HVAC unit (a/c and heat)
