They came out in a couple of hours of call and checked on it. After getting parts needed, the repair was done for a reasonable price. Work was carefully done and professional. It was, as most plumbing projects are, somewhat complex and worked great on completion. Office help was very polite and helpful.

The technician was able to remove the shower drain cover and unclog the drain. He also replaced the washers at the end of both valve stems to stop the dripping. He checked the valve stem seats to make sure they were still smooth and wouldn't damage the new rubber washers. I made the original appointment time but had to reschedule to later the same day. North Star Plumbing was flexible on the timing. They were very responsive in both emails and phone calls. Their actual price was in line with their estimate. We will use North Star Plumbing again.

Ed from Northstar called and asked about the issue and determined that a replacement drain might be needed and made sure he had the right one before he arrived.  Good thing, the drain was broken and had to be replaced and Ed had the right one in the right color (the ring around the inside of the sink is visible and needed to be bronze).  The fix took less than an hour and has been perfect.  Ed also checked the second sink in the same bathroom to make sure everything looked good there.

We chose North Star Plumbing because they are one of the few plumbers in the NWA area with an in-depth knowledge of tankless water heaters.

We moved here from the Chicagoland area where tankless water heaters have been popular (and efficient and effective) for the past 20 years, only to find out many of the plumbers in this area really did not have much experience or knowledge of the systems.

So we did our homework researching the best and highest rated whole house tankless system (Rinnai), and then went to the Rinnai website to find trained and certified Rinnai dealers and installers in the NWA area.

North Star Plumbing was on of those dealers.

In addition to the tankless system, North Star removed our old tank water heater; re-plumbed the pipes in order to change the location for the new tankless system; ran new pipes for a new laundry tub in our garage; and installed and introduced a new water softener to our plumbing system.

North Star used only the highest rated components (I verified the items listed on North Star's initial quote with reviews and ratings I found on the Internet) and they did a superb job installing all of the components.

North Star was neat and tidy and always left the work site clean each day when they left.

There were a few errors on the invoice come time to pay, but they were corrected without hesitation by North Star.

All-in-all, North Star did a great job!

The tech arrived on time.  Identified the problem and replaced the malfunctioning water pressure reduction valve.  He was courteous and explained the nature of the problem and repair in an easy to understand manner.

We had a water leak in our front yard - oh no!
Three other plumbers told us the leak was in our water main, and it would cost $750 using some whoop-de-doo electronic leak-finding equipment just to find the leak, and then thousands more to repair it.
Plumber number 4 said, and quot;Let me send my apprentice over to your house and let him play in the mud a little while and see what he can find before you go spending all of that money.and quot;
Four shovels of mud and ten minutes later the apprentice unearthed a sharp rock laying directly on top of the irrigation system's PVC pipe and a pin hole leak underneath the rock.
The apprentice makes a trip back to his supply house for two 1.25and quot; elbows, 12and quot; of pipe and it's fixed for cheap.
