New Century Countertops and Tile are the and quot;Go TOand quot; folks in Springdale, AR. Their service is fast and friendly. After ordering they invited me to the store to view the slab and approve it before they cut it. Now, the process of ordering custom cabinetry and countertops is not a quick process. We are spoiled watching all the Home Improvement TV shows on the air now days. It is a slow and time consuming process. You do not order today and have it installed tomorrow. That said I was very surprised when they had a cancelation and my countertop was delivered 2 weeks early! They called first and asked if I was available, Then the installers called in route to my house. I had ample time to prepare for their arrival. The installers identified themselves, had ID badges and proceeded to install my countertop and sinks with little fuss or preamble. They answered all my questions and provided a lot of information about the countertop material and care. I started to sweep the floor when they were getting close to done and they stopped me! They swept the floor, got a dustpan and cleaned up their debris. They took all the boxes and cardboard with them also. I am very happy with the installation, the attitude of all the New Century employees and the material I received. I recommend them very highly to anyone looking for quality countertops!

Joanna is all customer service. That is not as common these days. She was very patient and helpful with all my ideas. She helped me choose the countertops and really understood the look I was going for. Out of the thousands of options she kept me focused and I LOVE my new countertops in my new kitchen. Doug, Brian, and Brian were a great team of installers to work with. I would recommend New Century and will use them again in the future.

We met with J.R. at New Century and discussed both quartz and granite for our kitchen countertop. We narrowed the granite down to 3 choices and J.R. told us he would get a bid together and email it to us. Our kitchen is an L shape, so when we went back we chose a beautiful slab of granite that had a natural vein that flowed over the length of one side and around the end. This was perfect for the L shaped counter we needed. We discussed the layout we wanted with J.R. and he made notes and marked the granite to insure the correct cut. I made a follow-up call to verify that the granite would be cut on the side with the natural veins and coloring that we wanted. J.R. assured me that he had instructed the lay-out man to talk to him before he layed out the cuts on the granite. There were still layout marks on part of the granite they brought to install. The person that cut our countertop chose to ignore the layout and had flipped the granite and cut the opposite side/length. He destroyed our granite and the countertop we should have received! It couldn't be fixed!
I knew it couldn't be fixed, but called anyway. The and quot;bossand quot; didn't even make the effort to feign sympathy for their mistake. He told us he WOULD NOT replace the granite. No apology. He would give us a $175.00 credit or refund our money. I was too upset to think beyond that they had destroyed our beautiful countertop. I told the men that had brought the granite out to go ahead and install it. It couldn't be fixed, so what difference did it make? Instead of beautiful granite with a natural flow around the corner to the end of the counter, we have a nice granite countertop.
J.R. did a fantastic job of helping us and the men that installed the granite did an excellent job. If you want a specific layout though, insist on seeing the granite before it's cut.
