Burks Roofing

One of the wind turbines on our roof had blown off which needed to be fixed urgently due to heavy rains. I called three different roofing companies but couldn't get same day appointment. Bill Burks installed two new turbines the same day. Bill came the next day and walked me through the attic and showed the problem areas. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Called them on a Monday.  Bill Burks came by the same afternoon to do an inspection.  Thoroughly explained what needed to be done and how and gave me a reasonable quote to do the job, which I accepted.  Told me he had another job scheduled for the next few days but would get back by the end of the week.  Called on Friday morning to advise that he was on the way.
Bill and one other person (his son?) worked for three or four hours.  Afterwards, he explained in detail what they had done and that he was sure we would have no more leakage from the worse of the two spots.  The other spot was more of a challenge (it had leaked off and on for over two decades), but he made some modifications that he felt would likely stop the leak there.
I am giving his company all A's because of their professionalism, punctuality, pricing and detailed explanation.  The proof is in the pudding, of course, so I will update this review after the first heavy rain - and after i give Bill a chance to respond if there is still a problem.

It was a good experience that I had dreaded to begin because of other experiences with other folks that operate at a way lower professional level than Mr. Burks does.  He made the experience pleasant.

Excellent job by the Burks crew, from the beginning inspection and bidding to the final cleanup.  They seemed to take a great deal of pride in getting it right, improving the existing structure and finding solutions to specific problems areas.

My roof was damaged by a hail storm, Bill came out gave an estimate.  After checking with a few more Companies, I decided to go with Burks Roofing.  He replaced the roof on my house, and shop in a little over 2 days.  There was no mess left to show they were even there.  Excellent service, performance and professionalism.  I would use him again...if i ever need a new roof, he did so well the first time I may never need one again.  Insurance covered the whole cost, minus the extra I paid out of pocket to have my gutters upgraded.

They came out and did a thorough review in terms of climbing on top of the building and seeing what the condition of the top is then giving us a pretty general estimate of exactly what needed to be done and what it would cost.  It was a professional encounter.

He did an excellent job. I have a large house and I had a flat area, which was giving me problems. He did a remarkable job by overlaying it with new roofing materials. He also did the shingles. Initially, he took a long time to get back to me, since he was working with the other roofers, during the storm. He was very punctual. I’ll definitely consider using him again in the future.
