Guys did a great job removing trees, dead limbs, and bushes; grinding down stumps; and even removed leaves that had fallen due to Autumn. About 10 per cent more expensive than others, but worth the professionalism and attention to clean-up. I had used them twice before and will continue to in the future. Only drawback (besides price) is his answering service - call his cell phone - as you have to contact it more than once to get a callback.

Called them twice to set up appointment to get trees trimmed. No call back, No show.

I have hired him twice. He has done the best job of any tree service providers that I have hired.

After 10 days of trying to set up an appointment for an estimate, I gave up and contacted another service who responded promptly. If your time is valuable, don't waste it waiting to hear from Jim's.

Jim came out several weeks before the actual work and gave me an estimate. I was familiar with his work along with other tree companies since several years earlier the Leawood Subdivision had extension tree damage from the wind of a Tornado. I picked Jim's Tree Service and one other. The other gave me a price of $2,000 more. Jim was not greedy and was on time, had the equipment and a very capable crew. I WOULD RECCOMEND JIM'S to anyone

One pine tree presented a real challenge, because it was intertwined with an adjacent oak. The price included stump grinding and hauling away the cut wood. All of the crew were polite. They cleaned up the yard, when they were finished. They had all the heavy equipment they needed to do the job professionally and safely. I will call Jim's again, the next time, I need a tree cut down.

They did a great job and boy did they have the equipment for the work. They had everything done in one day, which I was amazed with. I just couldn t believe how fast they did the job, and they did wonderful at it. Even my neighbors asked about them, so they could do work for them as well.

They were on time for the appointment, and they were very polite. They finished the job in a timely manner, and they made sure they didn t tear up anymore of the yard than what was necessary. They cleaned up all of the excess wood. They also had nice trucks and equipment.

I looked around to find a reputable company like these guys. They were in the phone book so they were easy to find. There were a lot of tree companies who would do you in and you have to be careful of that. This is a company you can count on to do a good job. This included cutting down the tree with excellent handy work, cleaning up all of the debris, and being trustworthy.

I came to find out pretty quickly that Jims Tree Service was one of the cheapest tree removal companies around here. I found them to be quite impressive; they cut that big tree down within hours. It was in an extremely difficult place, which made it a pretty critical job. To top it all off though it was done on a holiday. They are simply the best there is around.
