To start off, I called and left a message at the barn and it was promptly returned (this never happens at a sale barn). I was impressed right away! I took approx. 30 goats and 10 sheep to the sale and was amazed with the helpfulness of the staff. I unloaded my animals and got a ticket showing exactly the numbers, eartags, etc. that were on the livestock. It took my animals a little while to sell, but only because there were SO many other animals there to sell. I guess I'm not the only one loving this place!! As soon as my animals sold, the office had my check ready and were very friendly. The new computer system is a hit! The check was easy to read and had all fees displayed so that I didn't have any questions. Overall, I loved coming to the Salem auction and will not be using any others!
