Lowe's

One must look over merchandise obtained from Lowes, or similar stores, for correct parts, no damage, etc. Flooring boxes, for example, can be a challenge if any pieces are damaged or don't run/fit together properly. My worse problem with Lowes is lack of personnel when you really need to ask somebody a question about some item in the store. TRY TO FIND someone when you need someone, wow. Otherwise, prices are comparable to other chain stores. The one exception to this is the Tile area. For some reason, maybe these people "didn't get the memo", :), but they were the most helpful, willing, intelligent, understanding bunch I've ever run across in Lowes. Couldn't do enough for you and knew their product!

They did the work but I had a few problems. Some of the quality of the work I didnt think was good and I asked them to re-do some areas. I had to be away so I asked the Lowes contract manager to come up and check up on something one day and they never actually performed the final inspection with me. I was kind of disappointed about that. I got a pretty good product but there are a few minor things I wish were better. I was told by Lowes that the final contractor wouldn't be paid off until I signed for the work but I never heard from them so I assume the contractor was paid without my permission.

Overall, I have had a very good experience with them. Their staff is there when we call. They will give us our options. They supplied a installer for us and they were quite good.
