CHIMNEY DOCTOR

Jeff is AMAZING! He was prompt to respond, prompt to come to my house...several times...and spent a great deal of time explaining my options and what needed to be done. My house is 100 years old, and the chimney was crumbling. He took it down to the flashing and capped it off and even saved the antique bricks for me. He willingly came back several times because the plumbers messed up their scheduling to install the gas line. He cleaned years worth of garbage that was behind the ancient gas stove, built a firebox, painted it flat black, and installed my new gas logs. He always cleaned up after himself and was kind and generous with his time, explaining things to me. He even spent a long time on the phone talking me through relighting my pilot light when I couldn't get it to light. I would highly recommend him to do chimney work.

Jeff was awesome! He was so thorough in his work and he helped explain several things that were over my head. He was kind, showed me how to operate my newly working fireplace, and even held my baby while I practiced. I would hire him again and again! He is former military, too, so not only are you helping out a veteran, but you know you are in good hands. He was also very reasonably priced. Thanks for your help, Jeff! We’re still loving our fireplace and all of the nice touches you added.

Jeff was great, explained all work to be done and did exactly what he said. He was late getting here but did call and said we could reschedule or he would be there in 1 hour. Great service and work, would recommend to anybody.............

It went great! As it turned out the chimney did not need to be cleaned. However he made suggestions about our screen and other issues. I highly recommend Chimney Doctor!

Jeffery(owner) was great to work with and he did a great job. Took a bit longer than expected, but this was not all due to Jeffery's schedule. We had a lot of moving parts that had to be coordinated. He was always here when he said he would be and was flexible with my schedule as well.

I called Jeff to have two chimneys in my house inspected. He was able to work me into his busy schedule that same day. Jeff is one of the nicest and most professional workers I've had the pleasure of meeting. He took his time and explained everything I needed to know about the operation of each chimney. I will definitely use Jeff to clean my chimneys in the future.

They arrived 15 minutes past the scheduled time, but did call and say they were running a bit late. Immediately got to work. Had drop cloth to protect flooring. Cleaned chimney, and inspected. Cleaned up. Gave advice for safety, and offered options for back wall of fireplace. Provided back plate and installed. Friendly and efficient. Price was very reasonable.

Jeff was phenomenal.  To put it in perspective, we were selling our house and the buyers had our chimney inspected by another company and sent us an invoice for repairs. Knowing nothing about chimney's, I wanted a second opinion considering some of the repairs seemed like overkill, and the quoted price was over $1,600!  So after reviewing companies on Angie's List, I found The Chimney Doctor. Jeff, the owner, responded very quickly and came to do his own inspection.  As it turned out, he had basically the same list of repairs.  However, he indicated that he might be able to repair the existing damper, not add a new one. And in the end, he was able to repair it.  Also, knowing we were selling the house, he wanted to be cautious of our budget but have it look nice.  On his own volition, he added insulation on the interior and painted the inside box a dark black to make it pop. He also added some "ash" that looked good with the gas logs.  He simply wanted it to look nice for the buyers. That says a lot about him and how he runs his company. And in the end, the total cost was $420.  Amazing the difference between Jeff and his competition.  
I HIGHLY recommend using Jeff to help you with your chimney. Our new house actually has two chimneys, and he's the only one I'll call to help when help is needed.

It went extremely well. Jeff talked me out of what I thought I wanted, and he was right totally. He handled all the details of picking out materials, and he honored his estimated price to the penny. He is busy (understandably; he does excellent work), but he's worth waiting for.

Showed up early for the initial inspection. Main job was delayed a bit due to weather -- slanted roof and raining. Scheduled quickly after rain stopped. Weather was clear, 25 and breezy when the work was done on our two-story house. Prompt, efficient, and courteous. Left no mess. We are very pleased.
