 + -1 moreWe chose Weatherguard due to the good experience we had with them in 2008 along with several of our neighbors (due to a previous hailstorm). Their team communicated well, did great work, and afterwards they cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell they had been there. There was a slight variation between the insurance measurements and Weatherguard's, but I was assured that they would adjust their price if insurance was correct. In the end insurance adjusted their measurements and paid according to Weatherguard's quote.
Description of Work: This was a complete roof replacement due to hail damage, paid by insurance, except for my deductible. Old roofing materials were removed, applied new felt, applied heavy base layer in the valleys (upgrade), replaced air turbine vents, replace gas vent cap, replace pipe flashing, painted vent pipes to blend in with the roof (upgrade), and shingles were hand nailed (not stapled).

Description of Work: They were prompt and courteous. Most of the cost of replacing the roof was bourn by the insurance company. They did most of the negotiation with the carrier. They did not cover my full deductable, which they did I am told to a greater extent with some of my neighbors. Be sure you know exactly what they are willing to cover for you before any commitment is made to allow them to perform the service. I foolishly gave them a yes before I knew the bottom line. No complaints overall though., I would recommend them.

 + -1 moreWeatherguard Roofing exceeded my expectations! As I had been the victim of a roofing scam a few years ago...I was on guard regarding any roofers. Due to hail damage and wind damage this year, I had a leaks in my roof that also leaked into the house. Weatherguard had recently replaced a roof of one of my neighbors so I called them for an estimate. They called me back the same day i called them and then came to my house the next day to give me an estimate. They gave me the estimate that very day. Weatherguard Roofing was there when they said they would be, they did what they said they would do. They were professional and courteous and really seem to care about their customer. In researching them I did find out that they have been in our area since 1987 (which speaks volumes for me.) The thing that sold me on them......they do not ask for money up front. (Yes...I was an idiot years ago.) I would use Weatherguard Roofers again and would gladly recommend them to anyone. They are home-town people that care about our community.
Description of Work: Two layers of shingles were removed from the house and hauled off. New shingles were installed. Plus new black tar paper or whatever it is..was installed too of course. The whirleybird vent fans were installed as well.
