Shine Solar LLC

This is nothing but a scam from go one!!! They really know how to lie. We started on this nightmare in April of this year. Since then it has be horrible!! They drag their feet about returning phone calls, and text. In July of this year, we went 10 DAYS WITHOUT AC!! 10 days and nights. Both of us are retired and have health issues. Those 10 days was living h***. We have waited over 2 weeks or longer to have a technician come out! They out a new HAVC unit in and it never did work right. We had a power surge and it blew the motherboard up. Another lengthy wait for it to be replaced. Waited over 2 months to get 2 panels replaced. This solar system has NEVER worked correctly. We were told that if they send another technician out to check on our central unit that we would be charged $600 for a service charge if they did not anything wrong!!! Now the heater us not working and as usual we are on a waiting lust to be serviced. Has any one found a way out if this nightmare??? If so, please contact me thru messenger. I have talked with the Attorney Generals office here in Arkansas. My next step is the Better Business Bureau. This company needs to be stop from preying on the citizens!!! This has been the worst decision we have ever made!!!!!

I have had my panels for over a year now and it was a nightmare from day one. After installing my system. It took 3 months to get them powered up excuse after excuse, they kelp blaming the state. It took 2 10 min phone calls and they got the letter the next day. Then i call back a few months later due to 2 panels under producing. Fast forward 3 months later and several panel change out (found out with used panels) got one panel working like it should and the other worked for a short time then went back to under producing. A year later still no resolution to this issue.

We now have over $73,000 in debt for a 20 panel system with HVAC installed. The solar doesn’t cover our electricity usage when we repeatedly and specifically asked for 100% offset. After talking with Entergy Arkansas we were told that we would never meet our energy usage with the system installed. Our HVAC hasn’t worked right from the start and has completely fired for a second time. It doesn’t cool our upstairs hardly at all and we are completely disgusted that we ever chose to do business with Shine Solar. $73,000 for maybe 50% offset and we said over and over that we wanted 100%. There is a minimum charge monthly from Entergy and we were aware of that. But this system never will cover what we use even though they sold us a promise that it would. Save yourself a headache and choose another company!

Shine Solar installed our $60K system three years ago, and illegally back fed it into the breaker box. After three breakers melted, destroying the breakers and the buses, and caused on outage on three different occasions, we had the electric company, and several electricians, and the city inspector out to look at it, we found out, nothing they did was up to code. After three and half years, they finally returned to fix it. They fixed one issue,(hooking it up to it's own line, as power coming in, not power going out, but it still didn't pass inspection. Because they never turned in the plans to the city, they didn't replace the buses and or panel and they didn't give us a shut off to the shop. And of course, as usual, they won't return a phone call or an email. They say they are under new management and everything is better now. I'm sorry, I'm not seeing it. I'm seeing the same old run around song and dance over and over again. But on a brighter note, I am NOW producing what they promised. It's funny how that works, when they actually hook it up correctly.

These people claimed to the public consumers can reduce their electricity low as $15.00. What they will not tell you is they target deep pockets asking prospective clients a very large sum of cash for installation or loan installment. They fired the agent who “qualified” me for their loan due to not adhering to company standards. I still pay the city the same bill, their loan, and a ruined credit report. Is this legal and ethical??

No issues at all. Install was done in one day and the black on black panels are barley noticeable.

Everything was extremely fast got it together and am producing power. Highly recommended

Highly recommend. Process has been just that a process. But they have been helpful and upfront with most everything. Everyone I have talked to has been very professional and willing to work with me. construction crew was awesome. being in the construction industry myself ,these guys are A+ Ground mount looks great and grass is already growing back.

I just had my panels installed this last month. Everyone’s I’ve talked to has been very helpful and has all the information I’ve needed. Installation went smooth and they look great.

I am beyond happy with the experience I have had with Shine Solar. This company knows how to treat people and be professionals! They have answered all little questions I came up with through the whole process. Everything was done when they said it would be. Everything is working just the way it should, possibly even better!!!! This month (August, Billing cycle is for July) was our first full month with solar panels. Our bill went from May being $83.92 to July being a credit of $(71.59). So the panels paid for them selves this month. #Shine Solar Rocks!!!!!!

From start to finish, crew was professional and courteous. Left with no clean up and afterwards stayed for Q and A.

They are very professional they are very knowledgeable about their business and equipment and how everything works they are very quick it installing and very responsive when you ask questions they are a very good company to deal with

After a year of thorough research, I took the Shine Solar plunge and I am now reaping the solar energy benefits of net metering! Everyone at Shine Solar was helpful throughout the entire process. Installation went great! The installation crew was very informative and respectful. From the first time we spoke with a representative to the day we were up and going was about 2 months and installation took a day. Someone always explained every step of the process so we knew exactly what was happening and when. We are very happy with our experience.

Shine Solar is amazing from start to finish. Great customer service from every team member including the amazing installers. The installers are in hot attics and on roofs in direct sunlight all day and they remain very pleasant! They are the back bone of Shine Solar! Great job Dautis Smith and thank you for everything! I just want to say that I am truly impressed how shine solar runs there company. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. They answer every question I had and went above and beyond. The process for us took about a month from talking to a rep at a expo show to turning on our panels today. I am so excited.

Installation went extremely well. Problems cropped up with the monitoring of the data produced/consumed. It took about two weeks to resolve the issue. This was not Shine Solar's problem but was an issue with the company that provided the monitoring software.
