There was throw up still in places that were harder to see like the floor and ceiling. They vacuumed the inside a little but didn't shampoo the seats. They cleaned the windows but they were streaky and cloudy in areas. The cup holders were sticky with cleaning fluid and the car smelled terrible. The outside was barely washed. There was dirt on the roof and tires and if the car had been waxed at all it was an incredibly thin coat.
You can imagine I was pretty shocked at just how bad the work was. This was on a Friday. I tried to call the owner right away but he never returned my call. I called again on Saturday morning because they advertise being open by appointment only. I guess I didn't qualify for an appointment because the owner refused to do the work that day.
I called back on Tuesday but the owner said they were closed because he was sick that day. I was starting to get frustrated at this point. I happened to be driving by their shop shortly after that and saw the owner there working on another car. I couldn't believe it. I pulled in and asked him right then for a refund but he refused, saying they would have to be allowed to try again because they don't do refunds.
I asked him why he wasn't being honest with me about being closed. He insisted he was being honest, that they weren't open, and he was only helping with one car. I had a friend call back later that day pretending to need work done and he told my friend they were booked up and couldn't get to it that day. Either he was lying about being closed or he lied to my friend about being booked up. Either way you cannot trust what these people say.
Early into this mess I tried to stop payment on the check but it was too late. The owner had asked me to leave the name blank so he could stamp his business but instead when he left my house he went straight to a bank and cashed the check in his name. Add that to the list of things these people said that ended up not being true.
I stopped by to get a quote one afternoon. I was greeted by the owner, and was quoted $165 inside and out. I have a camper on the truck, and explained that in addition to the rest of the truck, I wanted the bed to be washed out as well. He agreed and I dropped the truck off the next morning. When I arrived at the end of the day, I noticed that my roof rack was broken. When I looked closer, I noticed that the bed of the truck had not been cleaned and that the top of the truck had not been touched either. There were still bird droppings on the top of the cab. (I will say that the interior of the truck looked excellent though). The owner came out and explained that the roof rack broke when they sprayed it with the pressure washer. I let him know that it was made from cast aluminum and weight rated for hundreds of pounds and that I didn't believe him. He then admitted that they hit it on the garage door. I told him that I was not satisfied with the quality of the work. He told me that I would not be charged and that he would pay to have the damages repaired. We went inside and located the replacement parts online. He told me he would call when they arrived. I stopped by a couple of times to follow up, but after 5 weeks I could tell he was not going to follow thru on his promise. I ended up ordering the parts and doing the repairs myself.
This guy had some kind of sob story every time I talked to him. He seems very dishonest, and this business is just overall shady.

WE HAVE DONE A TON OF WORK IN OUR FIELD BUT AS YOU KNOW SOME TIME THINGS HAPPEN WE TRY OUR BEST TO EVERYTHING RIGHT WITH OUR CUSTOMERS. WE DO WELL OVER A 100 DETAILS A MONTH AND IF WE WHERE NOT ANY GOOD WE WOULD NOT STILL BE HERE . IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE THISS HAPPENED IF YOU WOULD CONTACT ME I WILL TALK TO YOU ABOUT WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY LES"
Their executive level detail I bought was to include the inside, outside and engine: clean all carpets, headliners, seats (cloth or leather) , floor mats, tires, wheels and engine compartment with hand wash, wax and buff of the outside, free pickup and delivery. I was told the standard price was $190 but since my wife is employed at a nearby business, he?d give me a discount at $159. Come to find out, that?s the basic price per their website, so no real discount was given. Regardless of that discrepancy, however, what I paid for was NOT what I got.
When my wife was ready to leave work, her truck had not been delivered. I called Les who asked how much time he had left. I replied none, she got off work 20 minutes ago. He said to give him 15 minutes to get there. He showed up and there was no one to take him back to his shop, she had to drive him back! The way there, he talked about how clean the engine was now and how much work they?d done vacuuming, getting the dog hair out of the carpet. While that might be well and good, the rest of the vehicle had either not been touched or was done wrong. The majority of the engine compartment was completely filthy. The exterior windows had been done but poorly and there was newspaper firmly stuck in the windshield wiper mechanism where they?d used it to wipe down the glass and got it caught. The interior windows had not been done at all; the windshield still had a ring from the suction cup of her GPS unit. All the interior surfaces were still dirty and hadn?t been touched at all.
Outside, the truck had not been thoroughly washed. No wax had been applied nor could any be applied due to the amount of dirt still left on it. Les did not clean the wheels and tried to tell her some sort of ?acid bath? would be needed to get them clean. They?ve always come clean before with regular, plain old wheel cleaner.
I called Les again to address the half-baked job that was done. He said two guys had called in so he was short-handed and promised to pick up the truck the following business day and make it right. He did somehow make time that day to cash our payment check, but didn?t have time to get the job done right. He should have rescheduled rather than done work this shoddy.
To compound matters, truck wasn?t picked up the next day as promised. When I called, I was told that Les wasn?t in and no one knew anything about it. They rescheduled for the following day. When I spoke to Les about getting this finished, I was very clear about what had and had not been done and what was expected. He agreed to do the job as specified. When the truck was picked up the following day, they brought it back after just a couple of hours, stating Les had told them to do ONLY the outside. They did not finish the engine compartment, did not do the interior at all, there is streaky dirt on the bumper, the wheels have not been touched and are still filthy and wax residue in the door seams; the truck appears to have not been washed at all before being waxed.
I called again and Les is once again ?out? and will not take my calls or return messages. ?Your ride is our pride? so says their slogan ? if only that were true. I don?t know if these guys are dishonest or really just incompetent but they should definitely not be trusted. Their works is shoddy and their way of conducting business is shady. This experience was a complete fiasco. They claim to be ?not just another detail shop?- true, another shop would have done a good job. They also claim to have a decade of customer service experience (none of it good, apparently) and ?certified detail specialists? (certified in what, exactly, since they can?t even cover the basics).
"THE CUSTOMER IN QUESTION DID HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH THERE TRUCK IT IS HARD TO CLEAN A TRUCK TO LOOK NEW WHEN IT HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS THE RIMS HAD METAL FLAKES COMIMG OFF LOOK LIKE HAD NOT BEEN CLEAN IN YEARS WHEN WE DROP OFF THE TRUCK I TOLD HER THAT THE WHEELS HAD NOT BEEN DONE YET DUE TO THE SHORT TIME WE HAD VEHICLE FROM 1;45 TO 4:00PM THIS IS JUST NOT ENOUGH TIME DUE TO THE CONDITION OF THE TRUCK HAD LOTS OF DOG HAIR EVERYWHERE THAT JUST TAKES TIME WE OFFER TO FIX THE ISSUSE BUT HIS WIFE WOULD NOT LET US AND AS TO WHY I WAS NOT THERE IT WAS DO TO A DEATH AND HE WAS TOLD THAT WE HAVE DONE LOTS OF WOOK FOR HER BOSS AND THE CEO OF HER COMPANY WITH NO COMPLAINTS HER COMPANY IS TRANSPLACE IN LOWELL AND WE CONTIUNE TO DO WORK FOR THEM IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS OR OUR WORK PLEASE CALL ME 479-372-4555 OR MY CELL 479-903-2894 THANK YOU"
