GREAT people to work with. They came on time, ordered parts, and returned the next morning to complete the repair. Cost was about what I expected to pay.

We used NWA Pool to take care of our pool and hot tub for a year. I started noticing problems with both the pool and hot tub about four months into service. The pool was building algae and dirty and the hot tub was constantly losing water and dirty. Every time I brought these issues up the owner assured me it would be taken care of or pushed it off on his employees. $2800 in hot tub repairs later and it was still not right. They charged $215 for two hot tub filters, come to find out later they never actually put new ones in and I can buy them for $26 each. None of the work or cleaning was ever up to standards. Over $4000 in one year- Just overcharged and ripped off from day one. To make matters worse when I talked to the owner about it and told him we were letting him go he completely flipped out, yelled at me and then sent several very unprofessional emails. He later apologized but the damage was done. I'm sure they are good people but they are horrible at pool and spa care.
Response from Northwest Arkansas Pool And Spa
"First of all this is not even [member name removed] home. It's his parents home. [member name removed] decided to get involved as an in between and it didn't work. We NEVER charged that much for filters. Two filters were installed and invoiced on 8/1/2012 for $46.09 each. The Cal Spa hot tub had multiple leak issues, was sunk in a deck and incredibly difficult to work on. I didn't come close to charging the actual amount of hours we worked on it. We do not and have not ripped anyone off. [member name removed] continued to make such accusations, such as the filters, that we were not coming by but charging them, the pool was dirty only to go over and find it spotless, and other accusations. We do not conduct business this way and for that reason continue to grow our business and have a very high retention rate. [member name removed] is right about one thing, I did loose my cool and I did apologize. But in the end it was simply not a business relationship that was going to work for either one of us."

Jeff of Arkansas Pool and Spa identified the problem with my spa and made sure it was fixed correctly. It was a tough job, and right over the freezing cold Christmas and New Years holidays. Jeff stands behind his work and is very courteous and professional. I couldn't ask for better communication. I recommend this company without hesitation, and will definitely call on them again in the future.

Staff was very knowledgeable. Service was quick and responsive was willing to work around my schedule. I had them close our pool for the winner, I will definitively use them again. Work was done in a timely manner with all work explained before they started. I really liked the fact that they blew out the water from the lines and guaranteed their work.
Response from Northwest Arkansas Pool And Spa
"Thank you for taking the time to give our company feedback for the closing service we provided. We are one of the few pool companies in the area that take the time to blow all lines free of water and for that reason we do guarantee against freeze damage over the winter. For those interested in our closing service our standard labor charge is $150 for blowing and plugging only and $225 for blowing, plugging and covering. We do recommend and require skimmer savers and winterizing plugs. These are items that can be used year after year but will add a little up front cost for the initial closing year. Thanks again for your comments......we look forward to earning your continued business. Jeff Whitham Owner"

This is the first time I have used this company. I was impressed with the technican, Jeremy, was knowledgable and friendly. He showed up on time and worked effieciently. I was quite pleased with the job that he did. I have used another pool company for the past 15 years, this company did a MUCH MUCH better job than the last company. Jeremy with the help of another person uncoved the pool, cleaned the cover, turned on the pump, cleaned the pool, brushing the sides, vacumned out the winter sludge, and added chemicals. He came back a few days later to check the chemical balance and added what was needed. I was a little shocked when I received the bill, but it was worth it to have a good job.

Response from Northwest Arkansas Pool And Spa
"Member, I wish to thank you for your comments regarding our opening service we provided at the beginning of swim season. Our goal is to provide quality and friendly service. I don't mind saying our service technicians are the most knowledgeable in this area. Please note that those who use our closing service and follow our winter instructions have much lower opening bills in the spring because the water will be starting out clear. Literally swimmable the day after opening!! So no follow up chemical dosing and vacuuming to clear the water. Thanks again for your business and we look forward to earning your continued business. Jeff Whitham, Owner"
