Kitchen Tune Up

It was excellent, easy to work with and accurate to my kitchen remodeling. I will hire him again and I highly recommend them.

It went terrible. When we would complain the contractor(Aaron) would just stand there and stare into the air and not answer us.
He kept telling us he would sand,stain and clear coat our cabinets and make them look new. In the end all he did was to bring in a can of gel stain and put on them. He did not smooth or sand or even wipe the dirt and grease off that had collected over the years. He put new paneling around the cabinets and behind the stove and microwave and when he got through the cabinet was so rough that my dish cloth got stuck in it when I tried to wipe a spot on it. He said the cabinets would be walnut and when we checked the can of stain it was hickory color.  My cabinets looked like an old barn. They had holes in them,nails sticking out,end of cabinet was left without covering it the crown molding had a splice in it in the front of the cabinet and I told them to fill that splice and restain it they did but you could see the guys finger prints in it. THere was another splice by the front door also. There was a nail sticking out of the crown molding. They had stained the hinges on the cabinet. When they put the new spindles on the top cabinet they had them one inch higher on one end.   They never sanded at all and when we asked, Aaron said they would be sanded and stained. When finished our cabinets had streaks all in them. They had brush hairs from the paint brush and the doors did not have any stain on the bottom of them. No holes where filled or rough spots gotten out. Do not use this company. As far as I am concerned we have been cheated and this is fraud because he kept telling us he would sand and stain and clear coat. When I called the parent company I spoke to the SVP and he told me they do not ever sand...  Also I have learned this guys father has taken over the franchise so Stay away from them because you know the same guy is going to be operating under his dad's name and he is a crook. We went to small claims court and was awarded a judgement against him.
