During this particular buying experience, one of tens over the years with Underwood Furniture Co., Ronnie was particularly helpful and kind. It was obvious that he was a bit flustered owing to the high volume of in-store traffic (high for a small-town home furnishings store) and a phone that would simply not cease its incessant ringing. It was certainly busier that it has been in most prior shopping trips to Underwood's. However, Ronnie did not miss a beat and never complained. He helped an employee move our newly-acquired furniture onto the bed of our pick-up truck. Then, he tied it down firmly for us with high-quality string (free-of-charge, of course). We prefer this method of transport home, but Underwood's delivers anywhere within hundreds of miles (in most instances). I have never had any problem with their delivery service, nor has mother now in some 30 years. Use your best judgment to determine your preferred delivery method.
