I initially got in touch with Natural State through our home warranty company (AHS) to diagnose some problems with our A/C. The first technician they sent out was great and walked me through the issues our system was having. Shortly after he left, I got a call from their sales rep with our options, including the cost for a full replacement. After some haggling with AHS, we decided it was indeed time to replace the entire system. 20 years was a good run for the Carrier equipment we had. I used Angie’s List to find the top three A/C contractors in town and got bids from all three. Natural State beat all of these guys by thousands, pretty much making me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
The next week, they drove all the way down from Little Rock install the new Lennox system. On the first day, they were running late but eventually got going with two guys from the company and a third extra guy to help. These three were a bit unexperienced, but stayed late to get as far as they could. The next day, they came in full force with a crew of four plus supervisors and the work went smoothly despite the rain. By lunchtime, we had A/C again and the job was completed. My only complaint was that it wasn’t really clear on who was hauling away the old equipment away. One of their guys said he’d be back that evening to pick it up, but maybe he misunderstood me saying something about doing it myself. Either way, this wasn’t a big deal to me. I don’t mind picking up some extra cash at the scrap yard. Everything else about their work was absolutely awesome. They were very responsive to my requests and the price can’t be beat. I’d recommend them to anyone needing heating and A/C work.
