They come every time I have electrical work. The price for the last job was probably around $150. Overall, the last job went great. It depends on what you are looking for with Horton’s Electric. They are a little sloppy, but they are very reasonably priced. If I was going to have my entire house rewired, I would probably get somebody else. If I want a motion detector light installed in the front, I call them. If an electrical plug stops working, I call them. I call them for small day to day electrician jobs. They are kind of the people you see in the comedy shows on television. They do a perfectly good job, but sometimes there will be a slight tilt to the little electrical plugging place when they are finished. However, you can’t see it because it’s behind the chairs. I would rather pay $100 or $125 instead of calling in the big boys by spending $500 and having a perfectly straight electrical plug. I am sure they do fine. They are less than absolutely perfect aesthetically when they finish, but they are half or less of the price of the big boys for the smaller jobs. So, if price is important and you want somebody to do small, electrical jobs around your house, they are your guys. They are very responsive and I love them. They have been doing the work for me for 20 years. I think they are hilarious. They are dependable and they have been around for a long time. I know they do good work, but I would rely on them for small jobs. I might go to the big boys if I am going to completely remodel my electrical service inside my house. Their work is adequate or better which is fine for most of my jobs. I am sure they are beyond code. They fall off in aesthetics, but not in quality. I go out and buy my own fixtures. If I am going to put in a new light fixture, I go to a store, pick it up and make sure I get the top of the line. Then I have Horton install it because the stuff they show up within their truck is not the stuff that I would probably want to use in my house. They are reliable and their prices are very good. If you are looking for a company with a big van, with the name on the side, a 400000 square foot warehouse, then these are not your guys. If you want a little electrical job done and done right, they will do it. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
Description of Work: I use the services of Horton’s Electric Inc. for my electrical work. Their last visit to my house was about eight to ten months ago.
