The work was done  - at least I think it was - while I was not home.  I do not have a way of accessing the roof to inspect.  I have to take on faith and see if any leaks appear again.

I would have liked a definite response after the work was done.  Something to answer my concerns about any other problems the workman might have observed or assurance that all looked good.  Also, although I did not pay the company directly, it would be nice to know that company had received payment.  No follow-up leaves me feeling unsure of the job.

Showed up on time to provide an estimate and to replace roof.  Everyone was always professional and helpful; stripped existing roof, made minor repairs, laid down a new asphalt shingle roof, and cleaned everything up all in less than a day. Did what they said they would do when they said they would do it and withing quoted budget ... simple and clean.  Would definitely use them again if the need arises.

Good price, good job, good people.  So far, so good.

We live in a unique Geodedic Dome home and the entire outside was shingles. With Mr. Harper's help we chose to put wood siding around the entrance, back porch and cupola. When the roofers arrived at 0630 to start they worked hard everyday for 12 hours to get things done. They tore off only what they could seal back up in the same day. Each night they cleaned up the yard and even threw a tarp over the scrap piles! They were very professional and went the extra mile with extra effort to draw out the unique design in the dome. During the process we found 4 places where the underlying wood sheeting was rotten to the insulation. I'm glad we chose to do the whole roof and not just the obvious cave in area. We had a few weather delays with the siding but it was finished and stained and sealed. The left over siding was sealed and placed in the barn for our use. The place is absolutely adorable now!! I can't say thanks enough to all the hard work that went into this job. The guys are a step above in worksmanship and ethics alike!!

Harper Roofing Co. was the second company I called from Angie's list to give an estimate. Their sales manager Mr. Ryne Lemoine showed up promptly at the appointed time to give an estimate, and  recommended that I contact my insurance co. which I did.  From that point on he worked with the insurance co. on my behalf, and everything went without a hitch. | |Because of the complex nature of my roof it did take longer to complete the job than what was estimated, but that was no problem. I was pleased to have the job done right rather than hastily. The Crew of five arrived promptly at 7:00 Am, covered the surrounding yard with tarp and by 7:30 AM were removing the old roofing.  They continued working until around dusk, and returned promptly the next day to continue the work. The job actually took around two and a half days to complete. I haven't been on the roof myself, but from what I can tell they did everything that was promised plus more.  I would recommend them for their professionalism, promptness, and the way they worked with the insurance co. to secure the best possible outcome.

They arrived early tore off the old material including rotten decking, now my roof is much more firm when I get on it to clean out my gutters.

They gave us an estimate, but agrred to accept the amount of the insurance check.  They came right away and finished the job in 3 days including cleanup.  They worked with the insurance company to get payment because we were going to leave town the next day.  The entire experience was a pleasure.

Harper's is a very professional operation. They were able to quickly provide a written quote, work with me on a convenient date to do their work, were on time, professional on the job site, and did an excellent clean-up of the job site when done. Mr. Harper was available if I had any questions with the work being done, and answered all my questions and concerns satisfactorily. I did need to be on the site to ensure that work was done to spec.  I highly recommend him to anyone.

Got the entire roof replaced. Mr. Harper was the nicest guy I have talked to in a long time. His primary concern was that our needs were met with as little inconvenience to us as possible. His prices were very reasonable, his crew worked quickly but carefully and finished a very steep roof in just two days. His crew was polite, diligent, and accommodating. I am extremely pleased with our new roof, and I feel that Mr. Harper helped make the experience less stressful. I would wholeheartedly recommend Harper's to anyone. Very pleased.

Some of the shingles split and started coming off from our roof pretty quickly after having it completed. I would not use them in the future. They did fix the issues. They may have to come out again and do some more repairs.

I was needing a new roof, and noticed a nice looking job was being done on a neighbor's house. I asked the job foreman how to contact his company for an estimate, and he supplied me with Mr. Harper's phone number.
I requested an estimate from Mr. Harper.
He came out, inspected the house, and got back with me on a price. He suggested that I didn't need architectural shingles, as they are more expensive than the regular kind. I thought highly of him that he would volunteer this kind of information. All other estimates I got didn't ask; they just figured it with more expensive shingles.
Mr. Harper's estimate was a very good value, compared to the other 4 or 5 companies I contacted.
I looked on Angie's List and found that he had good reviews.
I also noticed that the cleanup at my neighbor's house was immaculate.
I hired him to do the job.
He left me sample colors, and I chose one.
His crew came promptly the next day, and when I got home at 6 PM, the job was done, my lot was very clean (I have yet to see one roofing nail and I've been watching for them for a couple of weeks now), and the roof looked great.

Lewis Harper came highly recommended by the Farm Bureau adjuster, and for good reason.  Very personable and professional, his crew arrived early, worked constantly until it was completed, and did a fantastic job.  I've had roofs replaced before and was shocked by how well this crew managed to avoid any damage to our various landscaping.  The cleanup was perfect--the old roof was removed and not a single shingle or roofing tack was left in the yard or driveway.  They did everything in the estimate for the amount of the insurance check, and never tried to talk me into any additional charges.  They even replaced some rotten wood at no charge that was discovered when the old roof was removed.  I will definitely be using Harper again. 

It was an insurance claim because we had hail damage this year. My friend, an insurance agent, had got some good reports on Harper's, so I went ahead and used them. They came in. They gave me a time they would be here and they arrived at that time. They told me how long it would take which was about three and a half days. They took about three and a half days. When they got through, they did clean up everything and get all the nails up with magnets. They basically left it looking like nothing ever happened. They were the cheapest around. They wouldn't be the best price by any means. I would use them in the future if I needed to for any other work.
