Replaced and installed 2 compressors in 5 weeks!!. The first compressor was in warranty so the total for the bill which was for labor only was $1200.00 the unit stopped working the next week and we were told by the tech there was a "part was left off the compressor and the technician should have installed it when he installed the compressor." No charge for that visit. Worked for a week and then needed more freon,(no charge for this visit) then stopped about 2 weeks after that visit. We were told at this visit the new compressor had stopped working and needed to be replaced, the tech said the coils were dirty and that was the reason the first compressor was broken. He said we should have had the coils cleaned, I told him we would have done that if we had been informed of this situation during the installation of the first compressor. He said it was written on the invoice but agreed we were not told of the condition. Crazy! So another compressor was ordered and installed and yes another bill in the amount of $600.00 for labor b/c the compressor labor is only covered for 30 days!! i have tried to talk with the business and it is getting me nowhere. I am being told we should have had the coils cleaned and even though we were never told of this condition we should have read the invoice. I told her if I hire an expert I expect them to verbally discuss and explain what service needs to be completed. We are expected to pay the labor for the installation of another compressor because it appears inferior parts were installed or the service techs were incompetent. UPDATE JULY 29 2013 The 2nd compressor failed so Capitol has installed the 3rd compressor in 3 months. There explanation "We don't know what is happening" My concern is they are using inferior or used compressors. Good news NO BILL this time!!

Capitol Service Company was asked to come in and take off the top of the tree to shorten it and also to trim out some branches to start new growth. They did not seem to be very professional. They did not take as many branches as I had asked them to take out. They also did not shorten and round as well as I wanted. They also took way too much time for the little work they did. They were late for the appointment due to a higher paying job that came in. I would only use them again if I could not find anyone else to do the job. I would not recommend them unless you could not find anyone else. They seem to be interested in the job by the money they make from it.

Old AC/Heater went out in December and called them to fix it. They said they were unable to repair it since it was so old (it was old). I was out of town, so my girlfriend dealt with them, and they ripped her off. They installed a $3,000 unit with 100,000 btu for a 1200 sq foot house. Then they chaged $700 additional labor to retro-fit it to the house. When I got back, I asked them why they did not put an appropriate size unit on the house, they said that it was. Every other estimate I got for the same work was less than $1700.
