Provider directed me to purchase correct amount of fabric for project, ensuring an adequate amount (considering design repeat) but also ensuring there would be no costly fabric left over unsued.
Project was a small one - two cushions.  I provided fabric, shop provided foam and upholstery service.  Turnaround time for project less than two weeks.  Price seems high but in line with other quotes I received for this project.
Provide/staff helpful and friendly.  Shop is small, crowded, and dingy - no frills establishment.  However they did a nice job, in a timely manner and were pleasant folks with whom to do business.  They also completely cleaned and polished my midcentury chair before returning it to me.

The furniture is very old--the items were used when my parents got them in the 1930s--and took all the normal wear of daily use in a small house with three kids. They were reupholstered in the 1960s, but then went on to take abuse from pets and multiple moves.
These folks did an excellent job! The furniture looks like fine antiques you'd find in a top-end shop. Even the spot where the dog chewed the wooden claw looks great. Besides being beautiful, the seats are comfortable. They took just a little longer than estimated, but the wait was well worth it. Every detail is perfect.

They were professional, courteous, and friendly. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their work. The cushion turned out to be very comfortable and high-quality, and the work was done in less than the two week time they had projected.

I loved that he had tons of fabric for me to choose from. He actually made a mistake that was very expensive for him, but corrected it and had my items to me before Thanksgiving as I had requested. I'm not sure how he managed it, but I really appreciated that he took care of it and met the deadline. He does beautiful work. He is a very nice and professional man. I will recommend him and use him again.

My husband fell and hit a table I inherited from my mother. It was very special to me. For a few months, I just propped it up on books and kept the pieces in the drawer. After a while, I decided to get it fixed and hope he wouldn't fall on it again. I was very pleased with the repair - I can't even see where it was broken.

I ordered very expensive Ralph Lauren material. It did not cost much. It was one hundred and twenty dollars. All they did is make the cover. That is all I needed done. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

THEY ARRIVED ON THE TIME SET TO SHOW US SAMPLES OF FABRIC TO LOOK AT AND CHOOSE. FOUND THE FABRIC RIGHT AWAY. HE TOLD US HE'D COME TO GET THE CHAIRS AND OTTOMAN WHEN HE WAS FINISHED WITH ANOTHER PROJECT. HE DIDN'T WANT THE CHAIRS TO SIT THERE IN THE SHOP NOT BEING WORKED ON AND OF COURSE WE'D HAVE TO MOVE OTHER CHAIRS IN OUR HOUSE TO SIT ON UNTIL THEY WERE DONE. VERY THOUGHTFUL. HE ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE CHAIRS AND THEY WERE DONE IN A WEEK AND A HALF. HE ALSO MADE COVERS FOR THE HEAD OF THE CHAIR AND ARM COVERS N/C. HE COULDN'T SAY ENOUGH OF THE QUALITY OF OUR CHAIRS, THEY ARE OLD CLASSIC CLUB CHAIRS. HE THOUGHT THEY CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY AND THEY ARE. I WOULD RECOMMEND BURL/ELKINS IN A HEARTBEAT. WONDERFUL PEOPLE AND FANTASTIC WORK!

They were very responsive, even brought fabric samples to my office. Picked up the chairs and ottoman from my home. They were there when they said they would be. Within a short time (less than two weeks) the chairs and ottoman were done and returned to me. Again they were there when they said they would. Good quality work and a reasonable price. My chairs look like new for less than the cost of new.

Steve Elkins (Burl's son) was able to get incredibly close to a perfect match with his leather supplier (he had hundreds of fine leather samples from which to chose). It took a while for the leather to arrive, but they got right on the project once it did; the finished product was superb and totally worth the wait and the cost. We will use them again very soon.

They did the repairs in a timely manner and delivered them on time. They are very nice and polite. I can't even recognize the legs on the chair. After being run into by a vacuum cleaner for thirty years they look great after being refinished.
