I could not have possibly been more pleased by the work or customer service of everyone from Arkansas Restoration! Excellent company!!!! Excellent workers!!!! They were reliable during the whole project!!! Mike was the project mgr assigned to my condo---he was amazing to work with!!! The owner Howard also checked in and kept in touch on how everything was progressing. They completed the job on time. I would use them in again in a heartbeat!!!!!

In 2007 we contracted ARI for a complete remodel on our kitchen and dining room...and a partial remodel on both bathrooms.  They arrived with an estimated time of when the work would be completed which was six to eight weeks.  For starters, the project began on Memorial Day and did not end until Labor Day.  There were times during this remodel where they were not intuitive or forward thinking enough that the only running water in my home was the washing machine which I had to use to fill my dog's dish.  Now, so many years late, we have found over time different things around that we didn't see during our walk through that are completely unprofessional.  For instance, in the front bath we had a new vanity, shelving and commode installed.  Underneath the vanity, low and behold there was a hole that the sink plumbing went through that was not insulated, caulked or covered.  You can literally see the crawl space under my house.  Approximately a year after the remodel we lost power in our master bedroom. We can connect this to ARI as well due to the power in our master bath being where the outage originated.  We had to have another company rewire the bathroom at my cost.  These are just a few of the issues that we had to deal with using ARI and I could go on and on.  The salesmen that did the initial bid and was over the foreman that controlled the remodel was fired after this job.  His termination was attributed to them breaking six toilets and one basin in the process of changing out our previous ones.  The first people who installed the tile had to completely redo this due to it being uneven and unprofessionally installed.  The owner of the company came to our home stating we went over budget giving the reason as that they did so many things wrong he had the audacity to ask for more money to help with the cost.  We absolutely refused.  Since we have decided to remodel two other rooms in our home and my husband and I made the mistake of not checking out ARI when it comes to referrals this time we decided that we needed help.  What we did was turn to Angie's List.  I know it sounds like we are selling Angie's List, but is absolutely true! When we are done with our second remodel project I will write back in and give an update.

The contractor I worked with from ARI was great - Shawn Butler.  I did have some issues related to some of the subcontractors though, which were frustrating, but Shawn worked with these subcontractors to get the issues resolved.  For example, when the flooring subcontractors (Flooring Liquidators, I believe?) replaced the vinyl flooring in the bathroom, they did not replace the wax ring under the toilet and replaced the toilet with a scrap of laminate flooring under one side which cause that toilet to leak.  (The irony is that the floor was being replaced due to water damage in the first place).  Shawn helped ensure that this and the other issues were resolved and that the work was done well and completely.

They did a good job. Our insurance company gave us their name as a preferred provider. They were good.

My house caught fire in December 2010 in the middle of the night.  This was the company that we were suggested to use for rebuilding.  The project manager was very helpful and he responded very quickly to our needs.  He was open to suggestions for some remodel that we wanted to do in some parts of the house and very helpful in letting us know things that were not up to code previously they brought up to code at no additional cost.  He responds pretty quickly to any concerns that we have.  They finished the work and returned the keys in May 2011.

The carpet cleaners did a very good job on the carpet. It dried very clean looking. All the stains and heavy dirt areas are very clean now and it looks great. We will use this carpet cleaning service again. They will move all your furniture out if you want them to, and they will also do any extra work you ask them to do.
