MINUTE MECHANIC

The work he did on my car was wonderful. However, they left my vehicle's interior covered in grease with no attempt to clean it. I will use them again in the future but will mention this before I leave my car there.

The gentleman greeting us was very cordial. The establishment was clean. We were referred by another business in town who could not do the work (a business we have used in the past).
The work was done in a relatively timely manner, and the mechanic contacted us when the work was completed.
The cost seemed rather high compared to past auto expenses, but we took them at their word and paid the bill in full.
The only negatives were these: The outside of our van was filthy with grease near the driver's side door and down toward the bottom. Certainly not a deal-breaker, but this little touch would have garnered a higher rating.
However, the big negative was our van sitting in the parking lot overnight unlocked (we had to stop by and grab something out of it one evening before it was fixed). We left no valuables inside of it, but it would have been nice had they simply locked it just in case.

We went in for an oil change.

Changed the oil, greased all available zerks. With a flashlight they all areas of the top of the engine and checked the radiator fluid, the windshield washer fluid, washed the outside of the front windshield, checked for any leaks of oil on the side or bottom of the engine, checked any struts that did not look good and looked at each front wheel break pad. If any radiator or windshield washer fluid is needed, they add it at no cost.
They do this procedure every time and suspect any immediate or potential problem they will always inform the customer.

The mechanic was really fast; he was in and out in like a minute. I found out I had a huge leak in my air conditioner so I had to take it somewhere else; but for just basic stuff they did a good job. When I called they were able to get me in that day and were really quick getting to work on it so that was pretty impressive. I had to take my car in twice and their mechanic was not able to find out what the actual problem was. I will use them again in the future.

Older car with sequential spark plug coil failure. Made appointment for 2nd failure and it was fixed within an hour. About a month later, a 3rd had failed and I was nearby so went in to make appointment. They could fix it immediately--again in less than an hour. They discovered that the previous one they had replaced was just a bad part and fixed that at no charge. When the first one failed, I took it to a dealer and their bill was considerably higher than Minute Mechanic. I appreciate their price, quick service, honesty and overall good advice. When I had the 3rd failure, I asked if I should just replace them all. Answer was basically, 'if it ain't broke--don't fix it'.
