Went very well. Would not want to use anyone else in the future. Dreading the day he retires!

I tried to contact Mr. Cox to find out information on setting up an estimate. The lady I spoke with on the phone was the rudest person I have ever spoken with. I was simply asking if WHEN I set up the appointment, I could receive a courtesy call letting me know he was on his way. The lady said he did not have an opening until the following week, which I told her was not a problem. I just wanted to make sure of the call, because I am disabled, and it sometimes takes time for me to move around. The lady became extremely rude stating she could not and quot;hold an appointmentand quot; for me without my committing to it. I stated I was not making an appointment yet because I needed to check with my wife about my scheduled physician appointments for the following week. I was just asking if there was a free estimate and if I could get a courtesy call. I stated I would call back and the lady said and quot;no you won'tand quot; and hung up on me! I have never been treated so unprofessionally or rudely in my life. As the former vice-president of a major manufacturing company that centered around customer service, I could not believe that in this day and age, a business can survive when treating prospective clients this way. I tried to call back but of course, she did not answer. I left her a message stating my displeasure with how I had been treated but of course, have not received a call back. I have to think, that Mr. Cox is not even aware of this situation. Sadly, besides converting my current home to natural gas, I am about to start construction on our new home and will not be calling this contractor for estimates. I regret this because I have heard nothing but good things about Mr. Cox's work. He needs a new receptionist.

As noted in other reviews, it took a few days to get him here. Wife on phone is lovely and set up an EXACT time. Mr. Cox was here 10 minutes early and performed job as expected. Exceptional in cleanup and not making mess to begin with. A very nice man.
He diagnosed and attempted to repair a part that needed to be replaced before ice maker will work. This was really a job for refrigerator repair man, but he tried. Gave me the part and told me exactly what to do.
I asked both Mrs. and Mr. Cox if they had read their Angie's List reviews. They had not and seemed surprised that people had cared enough to write good ones.

He does a great job but works alone. He had another job when we had a pipe leak so had to use another plumber.

Mr. Cox was very professional. He gave me an estimate for the work I wanted done and was by far more reasonable than any other bid I received. He was on time, did an excellent job and did not leave any mess. He even contacted the fireplace business to make sure he put the right type of connection in and it was in the right place. I was very pleased with his work In addition he recommended an additional gas outlet so he would not have to return if I decided to put something gas in the garage and did not charge extra for it.

It went great. Mr. Cox did the work quickly and professionally. He contacted the fire place company to make sure the gas line into the living room was in the right location and was what they needed and finished the job earlier than he originally estimated.

Went extremely well. He even called fireplace man to find out exactly where to install the line in the living room so there would be no problems.

The story went just as I said above. Mr. Cox replaced a pipe that leaked and the problem was fixed. It was something my husband could not have done himself.

I have a rental house where Mr. Cox has done lots of minor plumbing problems. This leaky faucet had a faulty washer and would have continued leaking if not being replaced. His judgement was good in deciding this.

The project with Mr. Cos went very well from beginning to end.

This was a complete demolition and bathroom rebuild. The carpenter, painter, electricians and plumber had to coordinate their activities and their time onsite very closely. For the most part the work progressed steadily and efficiently. Any miscues or minor errors were immediately resolved to full satisfaction.
