Tim's Painting

Tim painted most of the inside of our house about 3 years ago. We were extremely impressed with his attention to detail and are still very pleased with the results. Tim painted the entire exterior of our house and pool house about four months ago. He did all of the trim and repaired two dormers. It looks amazing as once again his attention to detail really shows. We have recommended him to others and is the only painter we will call if we have any future projects.

We hired Tim to paint the outside of our home. He just finished today, and the paint job looks awesome! Tim and his helpers, Chewy and Louie, were all three very friendly and professional. They went above and beyond and took the time to do the job right! I highly recommend Tim's Painting.

I received 3 quotes on my Deck Project. Tim's Painting was by far the most reasonable. Tim started the project on the stated date and finished in a timely manner. Tim did a quality job in a professional manner including clean-up when completed. This project was a complete 600 Sq Ft Deck rebuild. I highly recommend Tim's Painting. I know I will use him again..

Tim was very professional. However, he was short-handed and had to hire help to finish the project and still did not finish on schedule. I feel he was more focused on training his help than on painting our home. As a result there are areas that were painted pretty thinly. There were paint droplets on our gutter pans and water faucet and the area that surrounded the faucet where he and his helper cleaned their equipment. I believe that if Tim would have been more attentive to the task at hand than training, these few little ares would not have occurred. I would hire him again in a heartbeat, but ground rules need to be clear at the onset--focus on the project needs to be foremost.

Despite some delays, none of which were his fault, the project was completed in a timely manner and with such a positive attitude. He is a perfectionist and went above and beyond what was expected.

Tim was helpful and gave advice when asked..im new to home improvements and he gave me very sound advice.. I appreciated the excellent customer service!

He quoted a lower price originally but asked for more when he completed the job. In fairness he underestimated the cost of the materials and what he asked for when he completed the job was still a very fair price.

He was hired to start painting at 9:30, he text at 8:30 saying his wife lost her debit card and would be late, at 10:30 he said he was at the paint store and would be awhile. At 11:00 I called to ask what was going on. He said he was not far away and would be right there. At 12:30 I text and told him it was the last straw. He made some remark about a 2nd straw. I went on to do errands and when I returned he was in my drive. I asked him to leave and he started arguing with me. I drove in the garage, locked the doors. stepped out on the porch and again asked him to leave, that he was done on my property. He stood there yelling at me for 10 min. I had given him two hundred dollars and he said I would not see that again and then hung a bill on my door for $500 in supplies. I hadn't signed anything and I did file a complaint with the POA, and Home Advisor, who I have heard nothing from. My advice, do not use third parties to hire anyone. This is the third time I used this service, the vendors were terrible, so never again.

I was very pleased with Tim and his work was up to par. He went above the specs of the job. I recommend him and will hire him for future projects.

Lots of rain delays which caused havoc with his schedule. One employee was dismissed because his workmanship was sub par which put a kink in his schedule too. Tim was diligent in doing the job right the first time. Tim was the only contractor who had instruments that gauged the color of the exterior paint and moisture content of the deck. The paint matched exactly. Judging from my research on the web, his suggested paint has superior ratings. Overall I am well pleased with the quality of his workmanship and dogged determination in seeing the job was done right. He is also a good man and very pleasant in his demeanor. I will definitely use him again for future projects.
