We had used James Tree Service in 2012 to remove tree and to trim others. They were recommended by long time North Little Rock friends who had used them for years. Terry is always a delight. He is down earth and and personable, but more importantly he walks the talk. His workers know what they are doing and do it.  Prior to the work, he looked at all the trees. We initially asked his opinion of the front and back yard as we lived in an area with many trees and the cost. He found a huge dead/dying tree that had been struck by lightening. Great job again.

They arrived at 11:00 a.m. and were totally finished, loaded up and gone by 5:00 p.m.  The stump was ground down for the big oak.  The azaleas were hit as little as possible.  Great job, professional friendly crew.  I highly recommend this company.

They came out and looked over the work and quoted a price.  Scheduled the work but did not show up on the day the work was scheduled.  Called and sure enough they forgot about the job. Rescheduled and this time they showed up as scheduled.  The work went well and the trees looked great.  We had a check written and made out to James Tree Service but when we went to pay for the work we were asked to write out another check with the payment going to the owner.

Because of the equipment they used, were able to do the work without doing any damage in the yard or to any of the other plants. You could tell that they were experienced and knew what they were doing.  Also I was very pleased with the job of cleaning up afterwards.  Another great point, was when giving the estimate, Terry James told me that another tree that I was going to take down was not actually diseased and not necessary to remove.  I appreciated his honesty and it saved me some money.

James Tree Service used two bucket cranes and other equipment to remove the tree. They raked and blew off the front and back yards, the driveway, and the street.  They were efficient, hard working, and skilled.  I would highly recommend this company.

All cut material was removed and the area was left in excellent condition.

Terry James and crew did a wonderful job.  This tree is very large and required the use of a bucket truck to get to most of the limbs.  Canopy of the tree was raised over the roof line of the house.  Limbs had to be cut up to remove from back yard.  Work took less than 4 hours with a crew of 5.  They cleaned up, raked the yard and hauled all debris off.  
Terry can by earlier to review the work needed and provide an estimate.  We spoke of how the tree would be "shaped", which branches would be cut, etc.  
The work was exactly as discussed.  No surprises.  Excellent.

Mr. James estimated he brought $400,000 worth of equipment to do the job and a crew of 7 people. He has a bucket truck, a huge crane, a dump truck to haul away the branches and stumps and even a stump grinder.

OUTSTANDING overall! Terry James (the owner) responded immediately to our call and then was at the house in 20-30 minutes! This was particularly impressive because we had experienced an EF1 tornado about 1.5 miles from us and every tree company and contractor was VERY busy. He and his crew performed all the work within 48 hours, were VERY professional, pleasant and courteous. Left our yard in very neat & clean condition. Recommended a contractor to repair the eaves on the side of the garage; it was someone he had used on his own home and the results were very good. Terry made a point of calling or stopping by to see how everything was going and as a follow-up with the contractor who came after him. We hope we won't need these services again soon, but we'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Excellent job.  One of the trees was in a really hard to reach spot, but they got it with no problems.   They were quick, polite, and took every branch with them when they left.   I would highly recommend this company.

James Tree Service was here on time. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. They used a crane to lift the heavy tree parts so my yard was not damaged. They also used a bucket truck so the job went very fast. Terry sent a crew of five. They were fast, They were all very professional. They did a job in four hours that I thought would take all day. The clean up was outstanding. No limbs or even twigs were left in my yard.
I called four tree service companys for an estimate on this job. James Tree Service  offered an excellent price, and Terry James was someone that I felt I could trust. I recomend this company to anyone needing tree service. Terry James of James Tree Service is the only one I will call in the future. He is the only one I will recomend to friends and neighbors.

Arrived on time, cut down the trees and removed all debris.  Did a very good job!!!

They are excellent. They are a little bit pricey, but they are worth the money. They had the equipment to do the job. He brought a big crane to do the job. He provides a quality service.

All went well; professional, careful of neighbor's property.

Terry James and his crew were terrific in every way, professionally. The job they did was first-rate in quality and thoroughness. My only complaint was that we had to reschedule a couple of times, and when I called to ask if the guys were coming, Terry had sort of forgotten about us. But that was a blip, I think. I've had this company before, and they were prompt.

They removed the tree and all the remains from our back yard without any damage to the fence and yard.They did not drop one branch in our back yard and cleaned up the area around the yard. They arrived on time and were very professional during the removal process. We have had eleven trees removed from our property and they were by far the most professional tree service we have used.

They did not warn me that they were going to drive the large truck through my yard. They did clean up well though and did a good job. They asked me to pay but they were not finished with the work yet. I did not want to pay. I did pay and they did come back to finish the work.
