They were able to come right away. They repaired the sensor, and showed me how to check it in the future. They repaired the cranky button (opener), readjusted the door, and lubricated everything. They were polite, tidy, and their rates were very reasonable.. I will certainly be using them again.

Repairs were made quickly and perfectly.

Came on a Sunday afternoon to give us a quote on the requested work. Schedule an appointment for the following wednesday morning. Arrived on time and peformed work as described. Service was excellent and would definitely use again.

Dirk and his son came to look at my bent garage door on Monday, July 13, 2015.  They showed up promptly at 4:30pm, right after I got off work.  They were both professional and friendly.  Dirk told me my options and quoted a price.  I was comfortable with his estimate and scheduled a time to install my garage door.
He showed up on time today (July 15, 2015) and got to work.  He installed the new door and adjusted the lifter as well.  Dirk and his son are very professional and I felt safe having them working on home.  I will definitely recommend them to anyone with issues with their garage doors.

Coil snapped on garage door.  We couldn't open it.  He came right over after I called (before 8am) so we could get out to go to work.  He said he would return that afternoon to actually do the repairs.  He did return that afternoon and replaced coils on both doors.  He stayed in touch to let me know precise time and then followed through.  He also oiled both doors for us.  They are both working perfectly.  He was very cordial and pleasant.  I won't call anybody else for my garage doors!

They came out and were on time and the rep was very courteous. He even gave me some preventive maintenance tips to help in the future. 

I called Garage Doors and More at 09:30 in the morning and spoke with Mr. Wilkinson (Owner).  Mr. Wilkinson (aka Dirk) gave me a reasonable quote and said he could be at my residence in 20 minutes to do the repair.  Dirk's arrival was prompt.  Dirk replaced both garage door springs, inspected the door and replaced one hinge (I installed a #2 where a #3 should have been), lubricated all the door rollers and tracks and lubricated the chain link from motor to opener catch, (swapped some fishing stories throughout the process). Garage Doors and More also does gutters; I even got Dirk to look at a gutter issue I am having next door at my mother-in-law's house; all in less than one (1) hour.  Dirk is friendly, professional and comes with years of experience.  I would highly recommend Garage Doors and More for any and all minor or major garage door repairs.

After the spring on one of our two garage doors failed this morning, I turned here to Angie's List to find someone to come out and make the repair. I called Garage Doors and More after the phone number for the provider with the largest number of reviews was continuously busy for over an hour. I'm certainly glad it was because I couldn't be happier with the service received by Garage Doors and More.
I called just before 10am and spoke with Dirk and told him where I was and what the issue was. He said he could come by sometime that day and take care of the repair. I texted him my details and didn't really expect to hear from him until late in the day since he was already on a job (and as I found out later, had several other jobs including a door replacement that day). I got a call back about 11:30am and he said he was on the way...talk about service! Once he arrived and I showed him the problem door, Dirk went to work and quickly had the spring replaced. He then proceeded to lubricate the remainder of the moving parts and adjust the opener on not only the broken door, but our other garage door as well. He also shared a few tricks of the trade for some minor maintenance issues that might come up along the way that I could take care of myself.
I certainly have a go to person now for all of my garage door needs and would highly recommend him!

Repaired several problems. Found problems I did't see that could have caused major problems. Offered to come out on Sunday the 16th. Gave me pointers on servicing chain, springs, and bearings to help door operate better and last longer. Adjusted other items at no charge to make door operate with much less noise. Super, super service attitude. Explained failure that caused problems and what was specifically done for repair.

Arrived quickly, repaired springs and even showed me a function on my opener that i did not know i had. Awesome guy!!

If you have a garage door problem, these are the only people you should call. I live in an 80-year-old house with a single-car garage and a Craftsman garage door opener mechanism that is between 28 and 40 years old. About 20 years ago, I paid the best-known garage door company in Little Rock to replace the old solid wooden door with a new lightweight sectioned door. Turns out, they forced the new door into the existing tracks and the new door has a very hard time staying in those tracks. I would have paid for a new opener, all-new tracks--but I knew nothing about what they were doing and assumed since they were the big boys they would do it right. I had them back a couple of times to fix it when it came off the tracks, pulled loose a spring, or just stuck in the up, down, or middle position. I got sick of them and realized there was something they weren't explaining. So I looked on Angie's list and called Garage Doors and More. This company is so good and I've had them twice in about six years--the person who comes out patiently goes through what has happened and manages to get everything ship shape (as much as possible without ripping the whole mechanism out, raising the over-the-door platform which is a foot too low, and starting over). One of these days, I may spend the $1500 to do it right as should have happened in the first place. If I do it will be with Garage Doors and More. They are very honest, very reasonable, and very good at what they do.

First, I want to thank Angie's List for offering an important service for consumers/customers. I hope this service stays committed to so many who need and depend on it.
Second, I hit the lottery with another service provider from Angie's List. I am a researcher, so I searched Angie's List for garage doors, listed six of the best services, and checked the Better Business Bureau for grumbles. I called them all and one in particular stood out. The owner, Dirk Wilkinson, of GARAGE DOORS and MORE, answered. He was personable and seemed eager to answer my questions and to have my business. Mr. Wilkinson mentioned Angie's List and was clearly proud of his record. I selected him and asked when he could replace both of my garage door springs. His answer was, "Today!" I was not expecting this response and in my stupor came back with, "I didn't mean you had to come today," thinking that it was almost 4:00pm, now. He stated that he didn't want me to worry about getting in or out of my garage. Then, he said that he was willing to work evenings and weekends so people wouldn't have that worry. Dirk said he could be here approximately 8:00pm. I sent him a text with my name, address, and phone number and was not expecting to hear from him for a little while when my phone alerted me to his text at 5:09pm saying that he was on his way over. That early? Really? I hoped he would be as professional as he sounded. He arrived around 5:30 and didn't waste any time getting to work. It took him about an hour and a half. He replaced two garage door springs, replaced the two bulbs that light up when the garage opens, and inspected the mechanism. He offered suggestions for keeping the garage door working as it should, and he also singled out important features of the system often overlooked or forgotten. Mr. Wilkinson went above and beyond what was expected. His price was exactly what he told me it would cost per our phone conversation. I rated him as Excellent because he has earned it.

Dirk was punctual, the job was completed within the estimate time (2-3 hours) and the price was the most reasonable of the three estimates we obtained.

This is a 100 per cent recommendation without reservation. This company does it all, does it well, and the price is right. I have an older home in the Heights neighborhood, with a one-car attached garage. About 15 years ago, I hired one of the "big name" garage door firms to take the solid wood door off and attach a metal sectional door. The old wood door was unsightly and VERY heavy, and basically you just couldn't get into the garage except through the back door. The new door looked good after it was painted, but I have had a lot of trouble with it. This most recent time it broke down, I called Garage Doors and More. They came that day, gave me a great bid, and then spent half a day doing their best to clean up the operational mess. They explained what the first company did and even pointed out where they had hidden the big wood garage door in my rafters to avoid hauling it off!!! They fixed the problem--and I expect their repair will continue to work for a long, long time. If I ever decide to rip out the original job and have it perfect, I will be calling them. Garage Doors and More - honest, professional, attention to detail. I have had several firms come out and make repairs, but I was never impressed enough to keep their card. Wish I had met Garage Doors and More first!!

When I called him, he was already in the area and was able to come right out to look at it. The next day he arrived with the replacement part and was able to repair it and even service it at a reasonable charge. The door operates much better now. He arrived and returned when he said he would.
