Everything went great. My wife called a 10am and they sent someone out by 12pm so she could make it to work. Took about an hour to replace the springs on both our doors.

Driver did not have GPS in truck, so he had to call several times for directions. Except for that, everything went smoothly. Randy was skilled, fast and courteous. Everything worked first time it was tried and has worked perfectly since. Randy lubricated the moving parts and gave us an itemized bill to submit to our home warranty company. The service call itself only cost $75; the rest paid for parts -- parts that had failed or would have failed very soon. Operation of the door is quiet and smooth now, which is a welcome change.

They had forgotten that I had ordered the doors until I called to remind them. They did come the very next day. I was promised to have them installed in one day. There was a problem, and the installer couldn't complete the job. He had to return the next day with only one door working. I understand things happen, but I was just very disappointed.

Serviceman was very professional and thorough.
Liked the service because Royal OHD Inc is concerned about treating customers right.
Serviceman did not try to sell extra services/repairs you don't need.
He even went as far as to show me a handy trick to get some more years
out of the weather seal along the bottom of the door. My weather seal
was starting to shrink. Instead of trying to sell a new one, he managed
to center it, and refasten it in place.

I am very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them to others.

Our fireplace wasn't firing upon turning the light switch on. We replaced the batteries and that didn't do the trick so we thought there may be something else going on. The guys who came out to check the fireplace were great and very professional/friendly. Turns out all that was wrong was that the batteries weren't connecting with the coils. All they had to do was twist and rotate the batteries a bit - low and behold, fireplace turns on. Since they were here, they cleaned the glass on the fireplace screen, etc. The guys told me I would be charged a and quot;trip feeand quot;. My issue wasn't with the repair guys and their professionalism or service. My issue was with the bill and the woman I spoke with when I called to ask about it.

When I received my bill, it was nearly $60! For twisting my batteries and using glass cleaner on the fireplace screen? I could have done that myself! I would say a bill of $25 or so would have been more agreeable with me. Yes, they had to take their time to come to my house, so I understand having to pay something. But $60?! Really???

After picking myself up off the floor, I called to speak with their billing dept. The woman I was transferred to was incredibly rude. I was being very nice so it wasn't like she was responding to my negativity. I simply asked why the bill was so high and her response was that they were basically doing me a favor - I should have been charges $115 or more (!!!!), but they reduced it to a and quot;trip feeand quot; of $60. Even when I explained my frustration over a bill that high for twisting batteries and cleaning the glass, she still wouldn't budge and only became ruder. She repeated herself and gave me the same robotic verbiage.

I will not be calling this company again or referring any of my friends/family. And honestly, I would not be leaving a negative report if the woman would have been cordial and pleasant with me. The fact that she treated a customer that way - that is why I have left this report.

This is THE best garage door company. They corrected a mistake that a nationally recognized locally owned franchise made. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. Good Honest Folks.

Went great. Quick, efficient work. Works well. I had this company out a few months ago for a door tune-up and was very pleased then as well.

They were awesome! They did a good job. They were on time. The price was very competitive and the bill was what they said it would be.

The guy who came seemed to know right away what needed done and he went right to work. In addition, he did some extra things like tightening up a few bolts and oiling some joints of the doors. He worked for about two hours.

The service was excellent as far as the speed in which the job was done. It took two hours to complete, but a small mistake was made. The wrong hinge plate was installed in one of the doors. Once we found out about it we called them. They came over right away and repaired the mistake. They were very polite. We have not had any problems with either door after that. We would have been upset if they hadn't responded so quickly, but they did so we would gladly hire them again.
