Rockin' Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

Just got a call from the owner. (Note, only after I left a message stating I was going to place this review, not after I pleaded with her to please return my call) She apparently has been in "crisis " (only until I stated that I was going to do this review) and couldn't return my call. She then went on to curse me etc because she has received a bad diagnosis. While I sympathize with her as my mom received the same diagnosis years ago, the reason I am still going to post this is simple. She CHOSE to return my call only when she felt threatened. If she had taken 1 minute to call me back and explain she was going through some personal stuff and could not help me, I could have had time to find other arrangements. She CHOSE not to. My Mom would have never ever done this. She chose to call me and throw all her personal stuff in my face and took her anger about her personal situation out on me. I hate that she is going through this, but what she did is wrong. I am sure if her business goes down it will not be her fault, either.  Real business professionals keep their personal lives separate from their professional lives.

It is evident by their response that they are not truthful. Their response states I did not receive a callback and then in the same response states she did call me back. She was hateful and never mentioned anything about another company which I used over a year ago and were paid in full. Just trying to back-pedal after the horrendous phone call. She also sent me a nasty e mail telling ME to grow up. I just wanted someone reliable who is not a liar and can possibly leave their personal life at home and conduct themselves in a professional manner watch my dogs. They obviously are not the ones. Hope they have a large client base..

This was the second time that we used the services of Rockin' Paws. The staff member was very punctual both times. She called us with reports, which we greatly appreciated. Our dogs accepted her immediately, she got down on the floor with them the first time that she came to the house. The second time, she was greeted like a family member. Brandy even called the day that we were due back home to make sure she didn't need to come back. Which was a blessing the last time she cared for our dogs, as we were stuck in Dallas and couldn't get home until the next day.
One of our dogs is a rescue and is a challenge to care for, particularly with women. Brandy paid special attention to him and he responded very positively. She sent a picture to us with Chadwick in her arms.
I cannot say enough good about this company. They have contracts for their clients. Rockin' Paws is licensed, bonded and insured. Prices are very reasonable for their services.
I would recommend them highly.

Rockin' Paws has been sitting our dogs for us for the past two years now anytime we need a vacation or a weekend getaway. Ashley, the owner, has been especially helpful and responsive even taking personal care of our pups when one of her employees was unable to make the needed visits.
Our pups have been well cared for and enjoy our vacations almost as much as we do.

Ashley walks my dogs every day and has now for the past 6 weeks. When I first met Ashley she came over to the house for a free estimate to discuss my dogs and their routine and then we set up the parameters of her service. She is very professional with a contract that we both signed. Her fees are based on how long she walks the dogs and how often. Currently she walks my dogs every day for 60 mins so that is $23/hr plus tax, but her rates vary as to how long you want the dogs walked and how often. She communicates with me every day via a notebook so I know how the dogs did. She is very reliable and if she needs to move the walk time or for instance is ill, she calls or texts ahead of time. It is such a relief to find someone that I trust with my "babies" and is able to give them the exercise that they need daily. I can not say enough good things, but my true test of her character is that both my dogs love her!
