If you want to really hate your vet, go to this place. If you want to be up sold and scared to death over the worst case scenario for your pets this is the place for you!!! You call for a quote and after all the add ons you spend more than double what you expect. I've had 3 different incidents here. Not being from here, we chose this place due to location and convenience. We kept going back thinking 'relationship building.' First incident, dropped our dog off for grooming. Went back for pick up and for $50 they trimmed my dogs nails and brushed his hair. He was supposed to be shaved. They argued with us about about it, but took him back and actually finished the job, angrily, very angrily. They argued with us about it and did not want to fix it. Next, took our boxer pup there when she was sick. Told us we could leave her there overnight with a minimum $800 tab, no telling what that would've actually came out to. They had no clue what was wrong, painted the worst case scenario for the illness trying to force us to keep the dog there. She went several days without eating, called them to discuss what was going on, and they basically said 'well if you don't leaver her here overnight she's not gonna make it.' Well, she made it. Took her back to get spayed. When we went back to get the stitches out, she broke loose from her leash with a worker and ran away. Took us an hour to locate her. I requested them put a chip in her. They charged me full price, never spoke to a vet for an apology and didn't address it whatsoever. I pulled my vet records and will be finding a new vet.

Dog received annual shots, medication for heart disease and preventive heart worm, fleas, etc.

Wonderful clinic for routine exams, shots, etc. for more serious illnesses and problems he will refer you to specialist. Most reasonably priced clinic that I've found. Will continue to use them.

It is good. They are very friendly and they remember my pet when I go in. The dogs aren't freaking out after they have been boarded. They let them out every day to walk them. They take very good care of them when they are boarding them. They do a good job of taking care of them physically. Dr. Hamilton has been a vet for a very long time. He stays up to date and cares about all the animals.

I dropped off my dog at the office on a Thursday morning. The office staff called my wife as per her request to let her know that our dog's surgery went without complication. The clinic staff gave us the option of taking her home the same night or boarding her for a night. We chose to board her. I picked her up the next day at noon. I was charged the amount quoted. I was given thorough post operative instructions. On the Monday after surgery, I noticed some slight redness surrounding one of the sutures. I, being the paranoid puppy papa, phoned the office. They told me that they would work her in. I arrived at the office shortly thereafter and my pup was seen by the doctor himself not ten minutes after I walked through the door. He examined my dog, and prescribed antibiotics as a precaution. There was NO CHARGE for the extra visit or the antibiotics. Ten days later the sutures were removed, and Lucy was again examined by clinic staff. She's now healthy and doing great!

This facility is relatively large and clean. It is well staffed with loving people and they offered grooming, bathing, and private walks. They also offer playtime with other dogs based on their size. I really think that this is a great place to board your animal while you are away.

Everyone there is like a friend to me because I have been using them so long. I like that you get personal treatment. Everyone there knows your name and is able to talk with you about anything. They are great with the animals and treat them very well. The place is really clean and always smells good.

I used them all the time because I was comfortable leaving my pet there. I actually have two kennels I use and sometimes I am torn between the two, but I continue to use this company because they always seem to fit me in. They have a clean and spacious place and they took really good care of my pet. We really like them.

I've used Pleasant Valley for several years and they do a great job. The area is clean, spacious and they also walk our dogs while we're away. The staff loves them and we've always had a pleasant experience with them.
