We bring all 4 of our animals into this clinic. They are very trustworthy, and have always worked with us no matter what needed to be done. Friendly staff, very professional, and they truely care about their patients. We brought our ragdoll cat in to get her basic grooming done. They brushed her out really well, nails trimmed, a bath, and her potty trail done. She looked even more beautiful after they got done.
There's no where else in Little Rock that I trust to take care of all our pets. They earned our trust from the first visit, and we've never been let down. Thank you all!

The owner of Pinnacle Valley Animal Hospital is really, really bad and the employee is really, really good. The owner doesn't read the file before she sees the animal so she doesn't really have a clue of what's going on. The employee really, really knows his stuff. He's very well educated. He keeps upon his license and he goes every single year to refresh, he goes up on the latest and greatest. I'm looking for somebody closer because it takes me 45 minutes to get there.

It was the most awful, horrendous experience ever, with Dr. Laura Mehaffy...Our nine year old male cat was diagnosed with lymphoma about a month ago. He's on chemo once every three weeks, daily prednisone and also needs weekly B-12 shots. He had lost an alarming amount of weight over the coarse of the last couple months,and is down to skin and bones, but IS doing better, thanks to Dr. Bierbaum.
As is common for this cat's brief visits to PV, he gets weighed every time so we know if he's still loosing weight, staying the same, or, hopefully gaining a few ounces.I asked the receptionist, who showed us to the exam room, if she would please bring a scale and she said she would... Normally, there's a scale already in the room.20 mins later, still no scale and no vet.The parking lot was empty, as was the lobby/waiting area.We brought our cat ONLY for a B-12 shot and weigh-in, but was informed that our regular, most fabulous vet (Dr. Bierbaum) was on vacation...So Dr. Laura Mehaffy was the and quot;go-toand quot; vet - she had on plain scrubs, NO name tag or embroidered name, NO lab coat, NO stethoscope and she did NOT introduce herself upon entering the exam room. My daughter and I had never met her before, ever - so given there was no ID and no introduction, we assumed she was a tech., as is often the case for simple injections and such.
She gave our cat the B-12 shot and I asked for a scale to be brought in, (again) to weigh him. (seems she should have at least GLANCED over our cat's chart to know what was going on with him!)
She replied with a fake smile, and quot;Well, you should have asked for one.and quot; When we stated that we HAD asked the receptionist, is when she became beligerant, stating that, and quot;We're very busy today and lots to do!and quot; with a totally fake smile. After coming back with the scale and weighing our cat, I asked If I could possibly take a B-12 with us to administer at home, to save the 45 mile trip (90 miles both ways), whereupon she simply turned and left the room without saying a word. No, and quot;I'll checkand quot; or and quot;I'll be right backand quot; or and quot;Sure, I'll go get it for youand quot; or anything at all! Still assuming she was a tech, we thought she went to go ask a resident Vet for permission to give us the shot to take home.
So again, we waited, and waited without a clue as to what was going on.She finally came back with the B-12, which I placed in my purse.Then she directed her attention to the 3 week old kitten in a carrier, of which it's back lags do not work, but flop loosely. I simply wanted to know, via manipulation and educated hypothesis, if the condition was most likely congenital or perhaps a mystery injury, since someone had brought him to me just yesterday.
When she reached for the kitten, I asked if a Vet could look at him. (still thinking she was a TECH).So she asked, and quot;Do you want me to go get a vet?and quot;I said, and quot;Well, yes, that would be good.and quot;That's when she virtually hissed, and quot;I AM a vet!and quot;
I said, and quot;Sorry, I thought you were a tech.and quot;All during this time, she has reached into the carrier, taken the 3 week old kitten in her left hand, and is waving him around in the air as she goes on to berate me further...and quot;Well I hope you don't treat ALL techs this badly!and quot;
Now, being in total shock and dismay, I replied that I've never met her before today, that she wore NO name tag, NO lab coat, NO stethoscope and did NOT introduce herself.Her reply? and quot; SO WHAT? I don't care. I own this place!and quot; (still waving the 3 week old kitten around during her rant)Whereupon she then said that I had the and quot;worst attitude she'd ever seen in her 30 years of practiceand quot;.
I was shocked and rendered speechless, so she then left with my kitten, presumably to examine him in the back, although I don't understand why she had to take him out of the room at all.Again, my daughter and I were left waiting for 15-20 mins.A tech later brought the kitten back into the room and took the chart back out with her. The tech was very friendly and cordial to us.
Yet more time passed before Dr. Mehaffy finally returned - ONLY to THEN perform an exam of the kitten there in the room, in front of us! (so what was she doing with him before, out of our sight, in the back?)
Seems she'd taken her meds (bi-polar?) or something by that time, because she was then much more accommodating and focused on the kitten instead of being beligerant to us.No charge for looking at the kitten - and no apologies either.
If it weren't for our regular awesome vet, Dr. Bierbaum, I would NEVER, EVER set foot in that place again!!!Even so, I'm seriously considering NOT going back anyway, because I refuse to support and quot;HERand quot; clinic.
Who talks to long time, (been taking ALL our four footed children there for over 7 years) faithful and paying clients like that, anyway??

Veterinarians, Animal Boarding Kennels
They offered discounted services through the recommendation of a local animal rescue group. My experience was they did successful work while being accommodating to customers as well as kind and compassionate to (even) stray animals.

We use Pinnacle Valley for health care of our two rescue dogs. Service is always great. We have never boarded the dogs in the ten years they have been in our home until recently. A death in the family made it necessary to board. The staff was great and both dogs were obviously very well cared for over the five days they were at the kennel. I wouldn't hesitate to board them again with Pinnacle. We see Dr. Cole Bierbaum at the clinic and he is great! Couldn't ask for better care for our pets!

This clinic is run by two female vets. It is in a new brick building and is very clean. These people know what they are doing and are very efficient and caring. The whole staff is great. My previous vet had been unable to diagnose the problem so we were very happy that they were able to.

We have used Pinnacle Valley Animal Hospital for 12 years now and we are quite pleased with their service. I really can't recall what the price is that they charged me. However he does give us a good deal since we have been using them for so long.

Animal Boarding Kennels
We've used Pinnacle Valley before and believe they're a good company. The boarding area is clean and spacious, the staff is very good with our dog and they walk our dog while we're away. There is also an indoor-outdoor run.

Animal Boarding Kennels
They were the greatest. I just love this kennel. They were fantastic with my dog, and they kept the kennel nice and clean. They had a lot of things for him to do and he was very happy staying there. They re a very professional kennel, the people were friendly and I would highly recommend them.
