I called and talked to Mr. Schlieff who had purchased the business from Mr. McMillion upon retiremnt, Mr. Schlieff was great answering questions over the phone and punctual at arriving for an estimate. At the estiate, he stayed talking and was considerate of our input and questions, giving us a reasonable amount of time. After he left we gave him a week and no estimate came, so I called and ask Mr. Schlieff if there was a problem. He was apologetic and said we would get it soon that he didn't know how we had fallen through the cracks. After two weeks with no estimate we were being put under a time limit and decided there was an inefficency or breakdown somewhere in the company. We could not risk our timeline of construction in such an important area of our home (foot of stairway / hallway between all rooms). I really wished they would have followed through as they were my first choice due to the age and experience in the company.
