Larry Robinson

Larry was three days late on coming to give me a bid. I gave him an extremely detailed scope of work and included was to put lattice and metal sheeting back up  so house looked presentable to guest.  He quoted me work would take him majority of day about 5-6 hours. He arrived at 8:30am and was leaving at 12:30pm, but unfinished. He came to the office said he was done and I took his word. He demanded 20 in cash and I wrote check for 580. He was supposed to go to hardware store and pay the ticket he put in customers name with funds paid and instead he kept the money. We spoke of this and he said he would see me in the morning and I could get the money back and pay it. The morning has came and gone , even after confronting him he has yet to respond via text or calls. He is very unprofessional and is only interested in getting paid and leaving. Wont ever call again , save your self time and a headache

Larry was initially responsive and reliable and offered good ideas, reasonable quality of work and good pricing. The problems we had related to his poor bookkeeping and the fact that he opted to work on weekends that better fit his schedule than mine. But I tried to overlook this, as I wanted to help him establish his business. However, once he contracted for a second project, his reliability, professionalism and responsiveness ,to my needs practically disappeared. At one point when I asked him about completing a project that was interfering with my daily life, he answered that he would "slip away" from the other project to try to get to mine. He always operated on his own schedule, often coming to my house after 6 pm and on Sundays. When I pressed him to finish by Friday, he began doing sloppy work. When he felt like he was finished, he texted me with the total I owed him and instructed me to leave the check in my mailbox that very morning. After I paid, I saw major areas where he hadn't cleaned up or where he'd dumped his old wood, empty paint cans, etc. in my storage unit rather than throwing them away. When I tried to get him back to clean this up, he initially agreed and gave me a date when he'd come finish. That day came and went - no sign of Larry. When I called, he became belligerent - said I'd paid him and that they weren't responsible any longer - and then hung up on me. I've had no response from him since.
