They are pretty good. They come out twice a month. They also do stone and gravel landscaping. The $300 price is per month any other task, they will give me a quote and I will take care of that.

I cannot recommend Kevin and Horticare enough. They provided a reasonable estimate in a timely manner and were very easy to communicate with. The work was done over several days by a crew but Kevin stopped by at least twice a day to check in on their work and knocked on the door each day just to make sure I was pleased with how things were going. They worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves. Their work was very high quality and they stuck to the estimate. We are extremely pleased with their work and will be using them again for any future yardwork we may have.

Terrible. Nothing was done in a timely manner. The staff was unprofessional in the way they conducted business on our project.

The landscape design was lovely, the work done in a timely fashion; both planting and building stone walls were done. When one type of shrub they planted was devoured by deer, they replanted all of them the next year with a deer averse shrub without charge. Yearly cleanup/planting of seasonal color is a bit pricy, but they do a good job.

I am writing this review now since it has been 10 months since the sprinklers were fixed. My entire irrigation system started agin with no problems this year!!! First time ever!

I had been wanting help with my landscaping for years. I had procrastinated getting things done for years because I know so little about landscaping and was intimidated by not knowing where to start.

I've used a couple of other landscaping companies for minor things such as sprinkler maintenance, etc., but I didn't feel comfortable with them for a big job. I turned to Angie's List for help. I was impressed with Horticare's reviews and noticed that they were actually located in my neighborhood, so I gave them a call a couple of weeks ago.

The receptionist was friendly and said that all of the people I would need to talk with were out on jobs, and that one of them would call me back soon. In just a few minutes, Jay called me and set up a time to come out to my house.

Jay arrived at my home precisely when he said he would. He walked around my yard with me as I explained some of the issues I've had with dying grass, standing water, and areas where it was difficult for grass to grow (such as shady spots) in my back yard.

He asked me several questions and said he had quite a backlog, but would get back with me within a week. A few days later he provided a proposal with a couple of options and some suggestions on how to spread out to work to manage costs. The proposal included drawings of the yard with the proposed layout of the landscaping.

Knowing that landscaping work is generally expensive, the cost was in line with what I had expected it to be. I opted to have all the work done at once. I put down a 50 percent deposit and asked how soon they could get started. Jay said since it was their busiest time of year, it would be a couple of weeks before they could get to the work.

About a week and a half later I came home and found my previous lawn and landscaping had been removed. When I came home from work the next day the crew was out working on my yard. When I pulled in they visited with me briefly and were very friendly.

They finished the work today (about 4 days of work), and it looks very nice! I'm impressed that they were prompt, and that they were able to understand my problems and give me a beautiful yard without my having to be very knowledgable about landscaping.

There weren't any "don'ts" to tell and all the "do's" were listed above. Crew was punctual, polite, considerate, tidy. Did more than required (went the extra mile) and did it pleasantly. Tremendously pleased with the results and it was well worth the price. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone/everyone looking for great landscapers.

They were good. I spent $3,500 on the job. They did a good job. They did high-quality job and they were pretty good guys. I will use them again in the future if required.

In one day had watering system up and working like new.

Did an excellant job of redoing yard that had washed out and become barron due to erosion and poor build of old retaining wall. Looks like a whole different place.

They are very personable and friendly. I also like that whenever there is a problem, they are quick to come out. Their price is not the best but it is not the worst either. I think they are about the same as any other company when it comes to price.

I cancelled them here recently because I found another company that was willing to do the same work, better quality of work and cheaper. I was not happy with the result and they were very apologetic, but it was too late. They didn t keep calling me trying to get me to sign with them again, which I appreciated. I just would not hire them back because I wasn t seeing the results that I am now.

I do not know the size of the yard, average size yard is how I describe it. I do have a very nicely landscaped yard. I did not want the lawn torn up to run the pipes to the sprinkler heads. I don't know how they did it. Parts of the system are not buried under the ground, thus preventing all the digging as usual with the installation. I am pleased I could keep my grass. They did a real good job. I do not remember the actual costs.

Two weeks after Horticare installed my new grass it got a bad infection. I thought there was a guarantee on the lawn, that if something like this happened they would replace it, but unfortunately there isn't. Although the people at horticare are trying to save the grass the treatments they are putting on it are making it look worse and worse and overtime they send someone out its someone new, so I have to explain everything all over again.
