Called Garcia and Sons to obtain a price estimate and their representative came by at the appointed time. The quote was very competitive. We called a few weeks later and gave them the go-ahead and they worked us into their schedule quickly. Their crew showed up at 7am and did not leave the first day until after 7pm. They worked steadily and completed the job in just a few days. We have a rather large roof with several steep sections. Their work quality looks very good. No shingles out of line, and no damage to any other part of the house. They even painted my vents in the roof to match the shingles - nice touch. Only two things to comment on: First, I have a large Koi pond next to the house and asked them to cover it so no trash would go in. They did cover it, but there must have been a problem when they pulled the cover off because I did end up with some old shingles in the pond. Nails to, but they got those out with a large magnet. Second thing, the plastic insert for the roof ridge vent looks a bit wavy instead of being straight and flat against the ridge, but that may flatten out when the summer heat gets to it.

Estimate for replacement of roof obtained on 6/7/2013 with 2 prices given- $2950 for replacement of shingles guaranteed for 5 years or $3400 for shingles with lifetime guarantee. Work scheduled for 6/14/2013 after 12n. The office for Garcia & Son called back that same day to re-schedule for 6/11/2013. The crew was at the house at 7:30 and completely through with the roofing by 12n. Excellent clean-up of debris from old roof.

They did a great job. The workers arrived on time and finished the job by mid-afternoon. Clean-up was thorough and they repaired a couple of panels of roof decking that were bad (included in the price). The job foreman was polite and professional. I am pleased with this company.

Wow! First, searched for companies on Angie's list and found this A rated company; thanks Angie! The free estimate was scheduled. The estimator, Travis, arrived on time and was very pleasant, courteous, professional and knowledgeable of the business. The bid had to be approved by his supervisor. Received the bid in my email the next day. We worked out a couple of things and scheduled the work to be accomplished the next day. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional, fixed a few shingles that needed nails replaced without asking or adding an extra charge. I like when businesses take a moment and fix simple things without asking as that to me shows that they strive for excellence. They Installed an ridge vent system encompassing about 30 feet and 6 gutters with screens. The gutter color matched perfectly with exterior paint of the house. They even painted the pipes on the roof making them look new as they were faded and old looking!!! They did not mess around but stayed busy during the whole day. They cleaned up everything to where you could not tell that they were even onsite. These folks are the only people I will call should my roof or guttering ever need repairs. Raul, Pablo and Mason were fun to get to know. You won't be disappointed, in fact they will exceed your expectations!

They tore off the shingles and re-fixed it. They also fixed some of the roof that was damaged. It was a fantastic job from start to finish. They gave me a good estimate. They came out, did the job, and cleaned up after themselves. They're very courteous, helpful, and hard workers. They were very responsive and punctual.

I called Allison to get a price. I had already put the felt paper on the roof and bought the shingles but then realized I didn't have the time (or the desire) to install that many shingles by myself in July. Even though I probably spent more on the shingles by buying them myself before hand, she gave me a fair price for labor and we agreed on a date based on their schedule. They were actually very busy at the time, but Allison had a heart and agreed to help me out and sent some guys over in between some big jobs. They got the work done fast and invited me onto the roof (I'm a contractor too, so I'm used to it) to inspect it. I always thought a shingle is a shingle and you can't really mess it up and that I always did a great job at it. But when I saw their work I realized that there is a reason to let professionals do their thing! I've never had a complaint on the small porch or storage building roofs I've done, but I could see a big difference between their work & mine. I'm SO glad I let the professionals of Garcia & Son do the roof on my actual house! And when they were done, I couldn't find one nail in the yard or one shingle wrapper that didn't get picked up! There was NO evidence they were even there - besides the perfectly shingled roof! Most of you won't ever be able to get onto your own roof to check someones work (if mine were very steep I wouldn't have been on it!). So if you can't look at it up close, how will you know if your roofing contractor really did a good job or not? Well, you can ask people that HAVE seen their work up close. And I've seen the difference between Garcia & Son and the people that just think "a shingle is a shingle". I've also asked around about this company and I haven't heard a negative comment yet!

Called for an estimate, they came the day they said they would. Only complainant is the came and left with out ever telling us they were there! Date and time was set up for work to start, they were on time, and worked all day, until the job was done. After the job was done, they took photos, so I wouldn't have to climb up to see the work. Roof looked as good as new. Great color match on the shingles. Then they cleaned up all the scrap stuff from the ground. I just wish everyone was this easy to work with!

They replaced the boards and vents. It was a kind of tough job but they did a good job. It is hard to find people to do those types of jobs.

Garcia and Sons had the best quote. They were great. They tore off the entire roof, replaced some underlayment, and were all done in a day and a half. They went above and beyond just the roof for no extra charge. They cut off a limb that had broken in a storm. They painted all the exhaust pipes at no extra charge. They cleaned up everything.

Overall, it was a good experience. Travis was on time and very thorough in his inspection of the roof. He was nice, professional, and took the time to explain the needed repairs. I was told the estimate would be emailed to me by the next day (Friday) and that it would be around $300. The estimate turned out to actually be $500, which I agreed to. They allowed me to use the $50 coupon on Angie's list, and I was thankful for the discount. The work was done quickly, and ahead of schedule. I am pleased with the professionalism and courteous service I received. It hasn't rained since the repairs were completed, but I feel confident that I will be pleased with the repairs.

Roof is 6 years old and is in very good shape 1. To repair a section of Roof/Guttering damaged by a recent storm. 2. To make recommendation on other concerns Not good ? No follow-up The appointment and the individual that came out to assess my roof, went very well. However, the follow-up was non-existent. After about a week, I had to call them for the bid. After some effort, they have to do some calculating and needed to call me back. At some point, they call me back (maybe I call) and gave me the price to do the job. I listen to somewhat of an explanation and then requested a copy. They needed to complete it, and would then send it out when done. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting. This was a waste of my time? n

Everything was like clock work. From the first phone call to the day the roof was finished. This was a roof replacement due to wind damage. The guys finished in 1 day. Roof looks perfect. These guys are the best! Use them!

From the estimate, to meeting with ins ad juster, to completing the work, Garcia & son were efficient, on time, professional, reasonably priced and clean.

Good job, but left nails on the ground & glue on siding of my home.

Travis said the roofers would be on the job at 7:30 am, remove the old shingles, install new felt, and 19 squares of new shingles by noon; they did just that while the temperature was 23 degrees when they started their work. They cleaned up the yard better than they found it. I thank Garcia and Son Roofing.

The service rep was on time, professional and gave an estimate on site. Had them do the work. Rep showed up on time, matched the shingles and finished in a timely matter. Would use them again.

WORKERS ARRIVED EARLY AND WORKED ALLDAY UNTIL THE ROOF WAS REPLACED. THEY CLEANED UP THE DEBRI AND REMOVED IT FROM THE PREMESIS.

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anyone to do such a small roofing job, or at least not anyone I would want to have on my roof. I called Garcia and Son and they were happy to do it. They sent someone out the next day to give me an estimate, which was very reasonable and they scheduled the work to be done two working days later. They came when they said they would. They did the job they were asked to do and did it very well; and did it for exactly the price quoted. I was also concerned about potential damage to my new leafguard gutters and I asked them to take care, which they did and they also did a good job with cleanup. To top it all off, I was able to use the coupon they provided on Angie's List to take $50 off the original $300.00 price. Count me as one extremely satisfied customer.

The team of roofers arrived at approximately 7:15 AM and had completed the installation of the new roof by 7:30 PM. We would highly recommend this company. They fulfilled their commitment to us in an exemplary manner. The individuals who performed the work appeared to be knowledgeable and worked until the job was complete My father was able to observe the work through out the day and had nothing but positive comments when I discussed the roof with him that evening. Upon completion of the job they provided us with the original quote as well as documentation as to the workmanship warranty. We sold our home in Chenal and the new owners wanted to take occupancy within 3 weeks. We had to find a mover, an estate sale company, a new place to move into...all within a 3 week period. During the home inspection, it was discovered there had been (undetectable) hail damage that was going to require removal and replacement of the roof. I called Garcia and Sons the day we were notified by our insurance inspector which was on a Wednesday. They had an employee out at 7:30am the very next day with an estimate to repair the roof. The materials were ordered and the repairs were completed within 3 days of when the job began. I was amazed at the professionalism of the office management and the crew that completed the job. If you're going to have to have a roof replaced or repaired, this is the only company in central Arkansas you should use. Fantastic job!

The young man who came for the estimate was on time, pleasant and professional. They were able to do the job the next week.A large crew worked quickly and efficiently and managed to finish the job in one day. They were friendly, able to answer our questions and did the job well. Some one was cleaning up all day as the old roof and waste from the new one came off.

They seemed to be very nice and efficient. I thought they were fantastic.
