Firestone Complete Auto Care Store

Most visits to Firestone are good. There have been a few times where it was slow, but overall good service.

Yes it was a holiday, but nobody called cuz the young man who waited on me Wed evening did not leave a note as he said he would or it somehow got lost. It was about 15 minutes before closing time but the computers had already been turned off so
they could not tell me if they could order me a Cooper tire. But promised to have someone call me Fri morning. I ended up going to Jacksonville on Fri last minute To get a tire that a different company ordered from a warehouse and put on for me so I would not be stuck over the whole holiday weekend.

They are convenient, and they are really nice. Their prices are competitive.

Went day before for quote on tires and time for service. Was told if I come at 7am the following am could get me in. Came at 7am the next am sd it would take 1 1/2 hrs. Man responded rudely when I sd I was told previous statement. I asked him a question .."Is it normal for the steering to feel looser when you need new tires"..Man responded "Mam, that could be a lot of things" as if he didn't even hear the question and didn't care anyway..so rude. He asked me if I wanted them to chk out the steering. I sd no. He didn't mention they offer free alignment with tire replacement...which was on the back of my bill as a recommendation which I noticed after I left the store.. So rude to not offer that to me. After service man sd I owe bill..didn't tell me anything about the service at all. I asked to see what I was paying for before I pay. He sd you don't get a receipt until you pay. I protested and he turned the computer screen around in an annoyed manner. I noticed the oil was different amount than they quoted and wrote down yesterday. When I sd everything looked good except the oil change amount, the Man point to a poster of many on the wall and sd "Mam, read the fine print" When I showed him the quote I received yesterday he continued on in an angry voice and sd Mam you are complaining about a very small amount!..while he folded the bill pushed it across the counter. He's right, it wasn't that much different so I let it go, but he was so rude. After leaving the store I unfolded the invoice and on page 2 noticed 2 recommendations..1 to chk out steering which I declined (I did)..and 2 recomending free alignment which I declined (I didn't..they never asked me if I wanted that)...I called back the store and mentioned that to the man..He sd "Mam you declined the allignment" I sd I was never asked about it. "Mam you're going to have to take that up with whoever you talked to" Totally unprofessional, unhelpful, bad attitudes, act like they hate their jobs, their goal is to frustrate customers and provide the least helpful info as possible, I will definitely pay more to have better service in the future. Every person that day (3) were consistently rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and had horrible customer service. Not only that, I called the corporate office and they were also unequipped to simply take my complaint. I heard a friend had a decent experience at anotherFirestone location for aircondition work, they just thought it was expensive..My experience with Firestone has shown me they are lacking as a company. I am not impressed at all. Hoping the tires work because I would rather poke myself in the eye than go back to that place.
