Provided detailed estimate, replaced and stained siding, oversaw repair of chimney. Communicated well throughout project, were prompt, trustworthy and very hard working. We will have other projects for them.

Provided a detailed estimate of work to be done. Price was in line with the two other estimates I obtained. Father & son worked together to ensure that all work was done correctly and on time. They were very professional & thorough. They kept a close eye on the others involved in the job- the tile people & the plumber . They took care of every detail and kept the disruption to a minimum. They kept me updated on when they would be coming and worked around my schedule. I had no concern about having them work when I wasn't home. I could not be more pleased with the excellent job they did and would recommend them to anyone. I plan to have them redo my other bathroom in a few months.

Most accommodating and good work

Elbert's Home Maintenance and Repair came out to do work in probably the Fall. They charged between $7 and $8,000, I don't remember. It was a lot of work. It was pretty much overhaul of the entire place. They are very reliable, very professional. It's a father and his son. Timely at returning calls, timely at returning bids and when they say they are going to come.

Cary and his son Justin came out to give me an estimate on repainting the exterior my 1200 sq. ft. house. The wood siding was 70 years old, and some of the boards were rotten. They were very thorough in their measurements, and I was confident they would have done a quality job. Their estimate included replacing the rotten wood (which would have had to have been custom milled), broken cedar shakes, and repainting wrought iron columns, as well as painting the entire house. Though I ultimately decided to have the house resided with vinyl siding, had I decided to paint, I would have chosen Cary and Justin over the other two painters I met with.

The work was begun on the agreed-upon date and finished on the predicted date in spite of the need for getting and installing additional materials to repair the old underlying damage. During the process, they were careful to not track dirt or construction materials into the rest of the house. Cary and his son, Justin, were prompt and efficient, left things clean, and did a LOT of work for the price charged. They were both so pleasant to be around that it felt like friends leaving when the job was finished. They also did a followup to check on things and apply a sealer for long-term benefit. We could not be more pleased with the quality and appearance of the work. I would absolutely call them for future work. (They may offer other repair services, given that they did the necessary carpentry.)
