Prompt installation, good workmanship and materials. The installation has performed for several years now without any problem. And the price was right.

Disappointed. Wanted inside air conditioner blades and inside cleaned as well as coil and condenser . Spider webs and debris still there. Wasn't even touched . Very poor service. I wanted through cleaning. I will not use them again. I could have hosed the unit myself!

I called in the evening just before a major snowstorm, as my heater had failed while I was at work. The owner was at my house in less than an hour- he brought his wife with him, which I appreciated as a single woman living alone who had to let a service provider in my house after dark. He identified the problem but did not have the part on hand. I decided to remain in the house with a space heater.  He assured me that regardless of the snow he would be back early in the morning with the part to fix the problem- six inches of snow fell, but he was at my house before eight am repairing the unit.  Both he and his wife exhibited the utmost concern for my comfort and my convenience. I felt well-cared for, and felt the concern was genuine. The price was reasonable and the service was great, as was my experience when I have used this company once before.  I would recommend these folks to everyone.  If there were an A+ rating they would get it across the board.

Using DuBose was a wonderful experience.  I felt like the price was fair for an entire new HVAC system.  We used DuBose at our previous house for maintaining the system and immediately turned to them when the A/C stopped working at our new house.  Kevan and Melanie are wonderful to work with and very considerate.  Melanie consistently reminded the guys to be mindful of our cat.  The work was finished in a day, and they were willing to work around our schedule.  I would absolutely recommend using DuBose for your heating and air maintenance and service.

I had the heating and air unit fully replaced and the duct work repaired in my rent house. They also installed a new vent in a room that did not have one and completed some other necessary repairs to the existing duct work. 
Based on the estimate, we scheduled 2 days for the work to be completed. The workers (including the owner) arrived in the morning a few minutes before the scheduled time. They were neat and orderly. They completed all requested work, which included the repairing of duct work in a particularly tight crawl space.  The entire unit was replaced and duct work repaired in one day rather than the estimated 2 days.  Workers were polite and attended to their jobs. They were neat and orderly and left the space as they found it. 
The unit is working perfectly and seems to be much more efficient than the prior unit. The level of heat in the house is so much better with this new unit and the repair work completed.
I am very statisfied with the service I received from this company.

Mid-summer our central air started making a loud screeching noise. My wife was in the hospital so I got home late on a fri evening to discover it. Found DuBose on the internet and emailed about 8:30 pm. At 9pm I was emailed back. Then, he called me and said he would be out first thing Saturday morning. SATURDAY! This was great because I needed to go back to the hospital on Saturday. He was there when he said, and replaced the Condensor fan motor.
About 6 weeks later, our air conditioner quit cooling...just blowing recirculated air. This was on a SUNDAY afternoon. I called DuBose and he said "I'll be there in about 40 minutes...is that ok?"...Are you kidding me? He discovered that the compressor was dead. I told him my wife was bed-bound so it was going to be difficult without the a/c. He assured me he would make me a priority. Called me first thing Monday morning with price workup to repair the system. It was Labor Day so he couldn't get parts until Tuesday. 3 guys showed up Tues morning and replaced the condensing unit within 3 hours.
I'm sold on DuBose. Kavin and his brother are top-notch.

Kavin Dubose is the owner of Dubose HVAC and Refrigeration. He is a very hard working man, that sells high quality products as Trane, that provides good quality work, and at very reasonable prices. You can trust Kavin to get the job done in an excellent way. He won't cut corners, he will do his best. I first hired Kavin to install a new Trane AC at my home. I was very satisfied customer, and decided to hire him again a 2nd time to install a new AC in my rental property. Both of his AC installations, were excellent work. On both installation the new air duct work was extremely superior to the air duct system he replaced.

Our AC wasn't cooling very well, (Temperatures that week were staying above 90deg even at night) so we made an appointment with another AC company that had excellent reviews on Angies List.They never showed up for the appointment or even called!
We asked some friends who mentioned DuBose HVAC and told us about their excellent experience. We looked them up, called and got an appointment the next morning.
They showed up on time, were friendly and VERY honest.
The technician examined the two systems we have advised us that one would probably need replacing soon, but didn't try to bully us in to replacing it immediately. Believe me, i probably would have purchased a new one ON THE SPOT seeing as the temperatures were over 100 that day, and the thought of living without AC sounded like h***!
Instead, he gave us some signs to look for which would indicate that unit was failing and advised us when those symptoms started we would NEED to replace it soon.
He recharged both Systems, Cleaned the coils, and gave me some tips on how i could straighten the cooling fins to make it more efficient (Some were crushed during construction of a retaining wall)
