Arrived late, did not seem interested in doing a repair. Claimed there was no online help, which was absolutely incorrect. Parts and service for old clocks is available from several vendors, and also a lot of useful self service help.

Great! The man knows clocks!
He did exactly what he said he was going to do and these two clocks (of great sentimental value to my family) work perfectly now. Both were non-working when he received them, but both keep perfect time now.
I wasn't in a big hurry and it took about a month to get them, but I thought it was a reasonable wait.
