I called to inquire as to pricing for recovering a very large, overstuffed chair and ottoman. The man I spoke with on the phone gave me a large range as an estimate - $400 - $800 depending on the work needed. I asked if the company picked up and delivered and was told that they did for an extra $20. I scheduled pick up for my furniture the next week. I had previously purchased the upholstery, 11 yards, estimating what would be needed for the job. Within one week, I was called asking if I'd like the back of the chair covered as it was - attached to the chair back, or would I like a removable, reversible pillow back. I hadn't even thought of that! It would last longer and be more comfortable. I was happy that they had suggested it! I was also told that they might not have enough fabric to cover the chair and the ottoman. I told them that I had ordered the fabric online and may or may not be able to get more. He said they would do their best to make it work and would get back to me if they needed me to order more. They worked their magic, the fabric was just enough and I now have a beautiful chair and ottoman (which they carried upstairs for me!) in my den. All in two week's time!
