Assured Home Inspection

I have had many home inspections performed in many states. Kevin is the best by far. He is thorough and explains things well. He answered all of my questions. I feel that I could contact him in the future if I came across a concern in the house. He gives a personal touch, not just an emailed report. If I need another home inspection done I will definitely use him again.

Kevin was very friendly, professional, and thorough. He hit the major high points with me on the day of the inspection and explained it in a way that was very easy to understand. The quality of the review document he sent me was phenomenal. Issues were very well documented with pictures and suggestions on what needed to be done to remedy them; some to be addressed by the seller, and others with notes that they would be simple/easy fixes that I could do myself after taking possession of the property. I will definitely be recommending Kevin's services to anyone I know, as well as using him again in the future if/when I have need of a Home Inspection.

Kevin Barre is an absolute professional. Remember, when you hire a home inspector, they need to work for YOU not the home seller. Watching Kevin methodically go through the new home showed his dedication to earn my trust and he absolutely did! Kevin was on time and took the time to explain and "show" me what I was buying and was VERY gracious for the positive workmanship of the builder. That was very satisfying to me.

I had a home inspected by Mr Barre in November 2016. The house had multiple problems with the foundation, rotten wood in the support beams, drainage issues and the list went on and on. I got a detailed report which included photographs detailing the problem areas. When I looked at this house I thought it was a dream come true, new AC unit, new driveway, granite countertops; just a beautiful little home. The reality was that it was structurally unsound. The thorough inspection was well worth the money. Mr Barre spent approximately 40 minutes inspecting the crawl-space. He saved me from a disaster I am grateful. So I naturally called him when I found another house. He inspected this one with the same meticulous style. This one had relatively simple problems which the owner gladly repaired. I am grateful to have someone I could rely upon to give me the information I needed to make the most significant financial decision I have had to make since I moved to Little Rock. He is very professional and down to earth practical. I am very appreciative.

His inspection report was so complete and well documented with photos the home owner immediately agreed to make the repairs or lower the price.  I am absolutely certain he saved me over $5000.  If you are buying a home, have it inspected by Kevin Barre do not settle for someone else wait until he is available.
The home owner was shocked at what he had found, the home had been inspected recently and the most serious items had not shown up on that report.

Kevin barre is A very honest, trustworthy, knowledgable, professional and thorough inspector. We have used him at least 3 times in the last 5 yrs and everytime we were very impressed with his service. His reports are also very thorough and informative. We are purchasing a 1970s built house and he did inspection for us. I wouldnt trust anyone else to do that job. He has extensive knowledge about home buildingnprocess, materials, service/repair issues, building codes etc.
