Ky was great to work with. He did a detailed walk-through of every nook and cranny, from basement to attic and provided a very detailed written estimate with photos of all work that would be completed. He also made any necessary repairs that were needed. It was well-worth the price tag and really nice to have the options for a yearly contract at a very reasonable rate to ensure critters don't make a home inside your house again. A great idea for someone who does not enjoy inspecting all the creepy, dark corners of your house! Also great contract to have for older adults who can no longer complete some of their yearly home maintenance ( to keep the house sealed tight)

I had wasted a year with another company which was unable to resolve the problem. I hired Ky, and he got it done. He did quite a bit of actual work on areas of my house that the other guy never even touched. He has a one-year warranty on his work, which is renewable annually for a fee. He will provide you a detailed assessment with photos of what needs to be done. There were a couple of issues after his initial work, and he promptly came out and addressed them. I would recommend him to anyone who has a problem with invasive varmints or animals in the house.

We were having rats get in under our kitchen cupboards...heard them and then smelled a dead one! Former pest control had put out poison which is probably why they died under our cupboards. Ky came and took photos of all the places varmints could
enter our house then his crew came and closed all those holes under house, by the overhangs, in porch pillars, etc. They were very thorough, good workers, very nice, punctual, and good at follow through. We had to call Ky back several months later because we heard scratching and he took care of that, too.

Mr. Stevens personally inspected my home and discovered several places squirrels were using to enter my attic, as well as chewed wires and entry points to my crawl space. He was thorough; he spent nearly an hour examining every inch of my under 1000 square foot home. He pointed out areas where critters could enter my attic and crawl space and told me about the potentially dangerous bare wire situation in the attic.
Within a day or two, Mr. Stevens returned with a written proposal of the work which included pictures with detailed descriptions of how each area would be addressed. I agreed to the work with the understanding that his crew was booked solid and that they may not be able to start work for two weeks. I was perfectly content to wait, but changes to the crew's other jobs allowed them to come to my house the week I signed the proposal for the work. The crew was efficient. I never saw them and they were so clean, I may never have known they were there save viewing the repairs they made.
Their work is clean. There's nothing garish about the hardware cloth they installed. The crawl space door was beautifully done, and I literally slept better last night knowing that the bare wires in the attic were adequately insulated when they finished. The original proposal included securing a very old (original to the house) and rusty garage door. I saw no need to make his crew secure that door when I had plans to replace it anyway, so Mr. Stevens took $80.00 off the final bill for work in the proposal that ultimately was not performed. I scheduled the garage door replacement which will occur within a few days. Mr. Stevens said he would double check the new garage door to make sure it seals to his satisfaction. I wasn't expecting that, but I appreciate it a lot.
I am physically unable to enter my attic, so I asked Mr. Stevens for pictures of the wires when his crew finished insulating them and he provided them no questions asked. He told me he would come back to my house if the squirrels returned to the attic. As rock solid as the repairs are, I'll be surprised if they do.
I would recommend this provider to anyone without hesitation. Mr. Stevens made the whole process easy for me. I was dreading calling anyone because experience with another provider three years ago was horrible, but working with Mr. Stevens was a completely positive experience. Mr. Steven's company provided more thorough work at a much cheaper cost than that other guy. I can thank Angie's List for introducing me to this provider. If any critter takes up residence in my attic again, I will call him without reservation.

I called him to come out and he took several pictures initially then his crew came out and sealed up the house and I haven't had any problems since. I am currently on a yearly contract where he comes back out yearly and checks the sealing, it is guaranteed which is nice. I would recommend this company.

It went great! Ky had two men who worked on our house, in addition to his checking in and also doing some of the work. They were very nice and competent--worked diligently, also. Suffice it to say that there were many entry points at our all brick, one level, 1995 home with vinyl soffits and attached deck. ALL entry points were sealed permanently, fixed, and problems solved. The darn squirrels had made a home in the attic and stripped off some of the foil around duct work, for instance. That doesn't affect the efficiency, but wow. AND, some kind of rat(s) had made their way up the wall from under the (poor workmanship) deck and into the attic!! Their trails and leavings were visible. No more! yuck. We feel confident that our home is secured from animals now, for the foreseeable future. Ky's a nice guy, too. Couldn't ask for more.

Ky and his crew initially conducted a thorough examination of our attic area and possible entry points (roof, walk space under the house) and provided pictures of the various problem areas. An estimate was provided and over the course of 3 visits the problem was resolved. This included detection and sealing of a new entry point following blockage of one the squirrels had been using. While working in the attic the ceiling drywall was accidentally damaged. Ky personally repaired the damage quickly and professionally. This was a very positive experience for us. All appointments were kept and on time and we no longer have a problem with squirrels in the attic. furthermore, should we have a recurrent problem this year, Ky will take care of it without additional charge. We would definitely recommend Ky's service to others with similar problems.

After looking on Angie's Ky to see what he would do to remove the creature making horrible scratching noises under my bathtub. He examined the house thoroughly. His estimate contained pictures of all the issues along with what repairs would be made to each area. We had numerous places of possible entry. He replaced and repaired siding that had rotted or popped out, screened all vents in the foundation as well as the attic, replaced 1 large door to the crawl space, which is actually a walk in space. Replaced 2 doors to the storage area on the side of the house, pushed up all the insulation under the that had fallen along with the wires that had dropped (due to animals crawling on them), He crawled around under the house looking for the animal, set traps, and came back to check on them regularly. Along with the rat he trapped he found a huge bat living in the crawl space insulation. The work performed was excellent. His work is guaranteed for 1 year. I highly recommend using Ky.

After failing to trap and prevent mice from entering my home over a period of months, I called "Animal Evictionis by Ky"-- based on Angies List reviews. Mr. Stevens made a call and inspected the premises very carefully, including the crawl space under the house, around the foundation, along the eaves, attic area, and under the front porch. All work was done pretty quickly and professionally. Very happy with quality of the work, and definitely recommend this company. Honestly, the only reason I rated B on price is I'm really not sure how to compare the cost for all the work that was done since it's such a specialized and unique service, but based on everything that was done, I have to feel the price was very fair for all that was done, and especially given the great level of service and interaction.

Ky came to check for entryways of pests in my attic.
He took pictures of the damage done by these intruders and also of entry areas for same.
He submitted these pictures and the cost of removal, repair, and what he would do to prevent future infestations of the attic rats and squirrels that had inhabited my attic.
Ky and his son repaired and sealed the areas. They did a great job in a timely manner and were a pleasure to deal with.

I had a card of Ky's, as he had done work in my neighborhood and when I discovered I had a problem, I called him. He came within a few days and did a detailed proposal with pictures and clear explanations. He provided references who I called and they spoke very highly of his work. Once we agreed on the work, he started promptly and even did some weekend work to complete my job as quickly as possible. He did a walk-through afterwards to show me everything he had done. He also discovered the pipe boot issues and told me what he would charge and how he would fix that. I agreed and as soon as it stopped raining and snowing, he fixed those. He cleaned everything up and did not leave a mess at my home.
Ii would highly recommend Ky for animal eviction or handyman work. He is very dependable and professional and does a good job. He is also very personable and has a sense of humor!

Ky was very professional and thorough. He began immediately to address my concerns, and was able to address all the repairs that needed to be done. There was everything from putting up screening for bats, to sealing off unused chimneys, to repairing loose mortar. I would highly recommend him if you are having unwanted visitors to your home!

Got an original estimate to do the work from another handyman on the list. It was $500 + materials. I thought this was extreme and called Ty who had been referred to our neighborhood group by one of the neighbors. His estimate was $150-$200. They began work late one afternoon and finished the next morning. The work is great and they were professional the whole time. They cleaned up to our satisfaction. When asked if he had underestimated the time required, he said he had. I suggested that we split the difference between his estimate and the other I had received so we agreed to $350 for the price. This seemed fair to me since I was happy with the result and still paid less than the $500+ from the first guy.
