Great fast service and the cost was very fair.

I found their information on Craig's List.
They came out to inspect my furnace and told me what I pretty much already knew; the unit had to be replaced due to a cracked heat exchanger. . We discussed the cost and much to my surprise, he recommended a lower cost unit. I asked about the efficiency rating because the one he recommended was 1 percent too low to qualify for the gas company rebate.
He took the time to explain to me that with a house as old as mine, unless I was going to replace the duct work, windows and doors at the same time, I would never get the savings from the more expensive unit to offset the cost. I also talked to him about replace the ac at the same time. Although he did say that labor wise, it was cheaper to do them both at the same time, as long as mine was running, their wasn't any need to change it. He knew I had a lot of house projects to complete and said the AC was something I could plan. I really abrogated that they are honest and don't try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need just because you don't understand HVAC systems.
Installation was great. Took them a couple of hours. I could really tell the difference in the warmth of the house last winter, not to mention the new unit is super quiet!
I would recommend KD's to anyone looking to replace their furnace.

I call them on the 3rd of May and they showed up on the 4th of May within 30 minutes of the time they said they would be here. They removed the old A/C unit and installed the new one within 1 hour as they estimated. When they left they had cleaned up the area and explained if there were any issues please call and they would be right out to address them. They were very professional the whole time and did not waste any time during the process. I would like to say I did get their name and number off Craigs list.
