I needed tiles laid at short notice - poor planning on my part - and Bob's was able to do the job, at once, at a great price, and within the time limits. This is the third time I've used Bob's, the other 2 have been for carpet, one commercial, and one household - both jobs were done well, within budget and time. I think what I was most impressed by this go around was the responsiveness and tidiness. The job was done very "cleanly" no mess, or trash left behind, and there was great communication with the contractors.

Bob had an excellent price comparitively and was friendly to deal with. The drawback to our transaction was the installers who failed to stretch the rug. Next time I would find my own installers.

The experience with Bob was fine. He used subcontractors. It was only okay. The workers complained about how hard it was to remove the floor.

We bought both tile and carpet from Bob's in 2010 while building a new home. We did not use his tile installer, but hired our own--that service went well. However, we did use Bob's carpet installer, whom Bob recommended, and he was awful. He left seams in obvious places and cut the carpet too short in the areas that are next to tile flooring. He came back once and made some adjustments, but those did not take care of the problem. Bob promised to send his new installer out to take care of our problems. Bob scheduled appointments for us twice, but his new installer never showed up and never called to say that he wouldn't be coming. Now we have an expensive home with poorly installed and cheap-looking carpet and are still living with a bad installation job. We are going to have to hire someone else to correct the problems, if they can be corrected. We will not use Bob's Carpet and Tile again. He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.

Bob was friendly and gave a good price. The installers did a good job the first day but then it tools weeks of chasing to get them to finish. when we finally got them back they did a horrible and rushed job, even leaving gaps at the wall and not laying the pieces around the door areas. Now the flooring is separating and uneven. There was even lying. Examples include Bob and his workers trying to convince me I had ordered a different color carpet because he had ordered the wrong color and other times when we asked about the aforementioned issues. And the guy that did the baseboards was awful. Again the first day went well, but when he came back to finish he left raw edges, didn't finish caulking, and cut boards to the wrong sizes (many even bow out a good inch). We tried to get them to fix it but our calls were never returned.
