 + -1 moreThe Baldwins are very informal and friendly. Their nursery is basically their home. They have a wonderful greenhouse on the property, as well as some chickens, which they let our children visit while we shopped. We stopped by on a whim a few months ago and were so happy to find just good, nice people trying to make a go of a new business (I think they've been around just over a year). We have been back twice now, with our most recent visit at the end of March. They have a wide assortment of plants and trees, including a lot of old fashioned roses. This is a definite stop for someone with a green thumb, or even someone just looking to spruce up the yard. I believe they will also come out and do some consultation work.
Description of Work: Molly Baldwin, a Horticulturist by training, and her husband have been very helpful working with my wife and I to determine which plants would go best with one another as we landscape the yard of our new home and try to fend off the deer in our area. We've asked them about everything from fruit trees, like figs and crab apples, to shrubs and annuals. We've also inquired about pollination and fertilizers and Molly has been especially helpful. The prices are very reasonable, and they are just good folks.
