The young man the they sent out to my house was very nice and he fix it and in no time I had heat again it was just awesome how fast they had someone out to my house and only charged me what the young lady on the phone said it would be. I will be calling them again if I need my heat and ac unite worked on again

When we explained about the noise level of the old unit he installed a blower fan rated to be quieter and showed us duct covers that made less noise. He wrapped the joints in the present duct work with the correct tape to quieten the noise and save money. All these touches made our home more comfortable. Highest recommendation. Very personable and professional.

They put 7 lbs of freon into unit.

Without supervision, very poorly!!!! Purchased house 01/11/2017, called Air-Fx inc. for an estimate, agreed to install system with 3 ton A/C. Left keys with supervisor as house was unoccupied at time of work, delay in instillation as some part was received incorrect, however lag time was of no consequence. Discovered upon inspection from another contractor for Entergy help, unit outside is a 2 ton and there are NO data tags on furnace for Entergy to do an air leak test, inspector had to go online and cross reference part numbers to find any information. Further inspection of instillation resulted in pictures I have posted, first off the unit is hanging by straps and metal screws attached and is off lever, drain pipe holding straps obstructing window, etc. Contacted supervisor at Air-Fx inc. when inspector was present and he was going to call me back........... HA! Still waiting! Called Amana and what a go round to end with "we will call you back........" HA! Still waiting for that too!

Very professional people. Installed a new Lennox system in my home. Work went as planned. Stuck to the quote he gave and did not overcharge. This was the best quote we received and we had asked for a number of quotes from different providers. Mr. Brian and his people are very decent and professional people. Mr. Brian gave good pointers on what helps to sell a home quickly, which was nice too. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install a new HVAC system in their home.

I called late in the afternoon and, instead of putting me off until the next day, came right away! The guy was friendly and professional and the work was done efficiently! I was happy with the price and considered it very fair. I will definitely call this company back for any future problems. I'd give them an A+!

I had good service from this vendor last year so I was extremely disappointed by this episode. I will not do business with them again.
Last year, as a part of other work on my AC unit, they determined that a heat strip was vibrating at certain times, causing a buzzing noise. I decided to wait until this year to replace the strip. I was quoted a price of about $250 to replace one strip.
About a week ago they cold called me about replacing the strips soon. During the call, they asked about replacing the whole unit since it is about 12 years old and there is a $500 federal tax rebate program that ends at the end of the year. I agreed to get an estimate for both the strip replacement and a new unit. The fellow I spoke with said that someone would call me later to schedule the appointment. I got a call later and we agreed on 9am.
There were several problems.with the resulting service:
1. The appointment was scheduled for 9am. At 9:20 the serviceman called to say that he was on his way and would be here in 20 minutes. He actually arrived at 10 am, 1 hour late.
2. When the serviceman arrived he seemed a bit confused about why he was there and asked me if I was ready to install a new system. I reminded him that he was there to give me a couple of estimates.
3. The serviceman said that I would have to replace both heat strips at a cost of nearly $800, there was no option to replace only one. This was quite a bit different from what I heard first time.
4. I asked him about the federal government program and he reiterated that it was for $500 and ended at the end of the year.
5. He was a bit derisive about the quality of my current unit. I hadn't had any problems other than the buzzing heat strips so I asked for specifics. His only response was that the units were no longer made in the US. However, that applied to units newer than mine. He had no specifics about my vintage of unit. Very misleading.
6. I checked on the alleged federal rebate program. There is none. When I asked the serviceman via email about it, he admitted that there was no program. There was one that ended last year. This is misleading at best, fraudulent at worst.
7. The written estimate that received was very unprofessional. It was about 5 words and a price. There was no information about the brand, model, warranty, energy rating, labor, haul away of old equipment, etc.
All in all, a very poor showing by this company. I will not do business with them.

Called Air-FX office and arranged next-day appointment to troubleshoot and fix HVAC unit. Brian Shannon arrived about 10:00 am and quickly went to work to determine problem. He looked at central air unit in ceiling, found blown fuse from short-circuit and then found eroded wire as it passed through home wood framework to thermostat. He pleasantly worked in confined space and replaced thermostat wire. He then found burnt-out contactor in outdoor compressor. He reviewed function of compressor fan and overall heating function once it was working. Wire and new contactor were available on his truck, so he did not have to leave and return with supplies. He was pleasant, quick and efficient. Took 2 hours to complete job. Cleaned up after himself and left everything as he found it. Provided an electronic work order receipt which I digitally signed and was then immediately e-mailed to my personal e-mail address (at my option).
The service call fee was labled "Quantity: 1.00" for a charge of $127.50. It would have been nice to know the hourly rate for service as I always like to know exactly what I am paying for. I assume $63 per hour labor for an HVAC technician is reasonable. I have paid much more to other HVAC companies for less work.
Brian, a combat veteran, offered a discount for military.
I will definitely use Air-FX again and would recommend him to others in the Hot Springs area.

Owner and associate performed all work in a timely manner. Knows all the ins and outs about HVAC. Gave information that contradicted another service provider, and backed it up with factual details. Very professional and personable. A very classy organization.

We liked it a lot.  The price was very competitive.  They're very responsive to any service call that we had.  It's a part time home so we had to had them out on the spring for some minor service and they came very next day so they were responsive in that way.  They were very good.  They actually had the best bid.  They did a very good job.  They were on time.  Just this past week I recommended them to my neighbor and they called them also.

My experience was great.  What stood out was their pricing and how they did their work.

Diagnosed problem with a/c, got the part and fixed it. Then he checked
it out to make sure everything worked. Chris was prompt, answered my
questions and got the job done.
