JOHNSTON HEATING & AIR COND

Three years after putting in the new A/C, it started losing Freon. Call out Johnston heating and air the company that installed the A/C unit, to find out why the house was not cooling. Johnston heating and air said there was no leak but they put in 3 pound of Freon in and charged me $400.00. Less than 30 days later, the house was not cooling again. We called Johnston back out to find out why it was not cooling again. Johnston said they could not find a leak and to call someone else to find it. We called another A/C company and they located it in less than 10 minute, it was in the condenser coils. This A/C company said it was a easy find and that reputable A/C company would have been able to find it, they charge 89.00 for locating the leak. Called Johnston back told them what we found out they said they were to busy to come and fix it and for us to find someone else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

The Johnstons kept every single promise regarding phone calls and appearances and on time. They treated us the way a client would want to be treated. Very refreshing!

We have dealt with this provider for 10 years and would not consider any other heating and air contractor. Johnston is a family business that has built a reputation of trust and outstanding service to us. Specifics of why we think they are outstanding:
- The recent installation of a new heat pump was accomplished in a very professional and high quality fashion and the price for the unit was below what we expected. They did not charge us for freon put into the old heat pump to tide it over until the new unit was installed. They always bend over backwards to provide top service.
- When Johnston comes to service your system, they do ALL of the steps and do them thoroughly. They also give the homeowner a complete rundown on how the system is doing, corrections/adjustments made. They take extra precautions to make sure you home is not subjected to dust or blown in insulation when they need to go to the attic. If necessary, they do a thorough cleaning job when the service is complete.
- We are to the point where we trust them completely and that trust has paid off.
- Johnston understands that the health of their business in the Village and elsewhere is dependent on good work of mouth reference and in my case, Angie's list.

They are very Honest Courteous prompt and clean.
Prior we used other companies. Been very
unhappy due to turnover in the company and we never knew who was coming.
We had a bad experience claiming we need another unit 6 years ago. Friend recommend to
Call Johnston Heating and Air. They checked out the unit and said that one of
the clamps on the pipe just needed tighten and whala it worked for 6
years longer. Steve Johnston is the Father and the Son is Jonathan. And
they both work hard and are very trustworthy. You can leave the house and
keys, and you are sure to get the job done clean and proper. They are in the
village for over 20 years. Have a great reputation. Wish we knew them prior.

We really like them. We feel that they are honest and above board. They are reasonable in their prices. They provide prompt services. It doesn't seem to matter who they send out they are all knowledgeable. The one thing that we like about them is that they remember us. They seem to be able to remember their clients and its personal that way. They are reliable. They have a good reputation in the community. We don't shop price wise and look at the quality of service at a reasonable price.
