JOE'S DELIVERY

Was due to deliver on the 1st of June as per contract. Did not arrive until the following Sunday at 2 a.m. After unloading furniture the condition of the furniture was appalling. Water damage on all surfaces of bedroom furniture as well as damage on all sides, scrapes, gouges, broken pieces of wood. Many items missing including weight set, elliptical machine etc. He gave me the runaround the first week and now will not answer phone calls.

Terrible. First they said they would be there to pack my in-laws around noon, they arrived after 6pm in the dark. The next day they all headed out to the new house in alabama. It took this company over 11 hours to take what our movers made in under 7 hours. We all waited and waited in an empty house for them to arrive. They got there after 9pm with no explanation or apology. I have no idea what took them so long. They arrive and start to unpack. Many of their furniture items were damaged including chair backs, bed frame wheels. They promised to set up beds but they didn't want to do it and ended up throwing the mattresses on the floor and leaving at around 11pm. My in-laws were really just were so tired they wanted them out of their house anyway. It would be bad enough to think this guy had workers working for him who did this but "Joe' the owner was with them. I have heard of 2 other bad stories about this mover- another one who had damaged items and another person who felt they were trying to take advantage of their handicapped brother by changing a price on him. I would not recommend this company at all. We used a Penske truck and a bunch of guys who had never moved anyone before and we were more satisfied with our move than this. I only write this to save someone else the headache and also to reward the honest hard working movers in Hot Springs who deserve your business.
