Eagle Heat and Air

We've had the twice a year service plan in affect since May. We also hired them to replace an old analog thermostat with a new digital one last summer. Our A/C worked fine. When it came time to crank up the heat- it never fully kicked in (the A/C kept overriding it) I called twice asking for service. First, they said they were too busy until a week later (which is apparently when they are servicing several of the condo units where we live). Later that day 11-14-18, I placed a call at 10pm to their dispatcher telling her we had no heat. They never returned my call the next morning, the woman I spoke with just said "I'm sorry you have no heat, but do you really want me to send someone out there now?" I gave up- Yesterday we got Grisham 1HR to come and they said the entire thermostat Eagle put in was wrong for our unit. It had caused the heat coils to freeze. $300 later, we are back on track. Our new tech said our AC didn't even look like it had been cleaned/maintained properly by Eagle either (as part of their service contract). We then went in person asking to cancel the balance of our service contract with Eagle; it would be about $60 and they refused to refund our money. They said "they held up their end of the bargain". Meanwhile on the back of the service contract , it says any party can cancel for any reason and receive a pro-rated refund. Then the dispatcher told my husband I was lying about contacting them in an emergency. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

They did the work a day or so earlier than promised. Worked under very hard conditions until the job was completed and service reconnected for resident. Technicians were informative, courteous, and appeared very competent. Overall good quality and very professional.

We called after hours, tech was there within the hour (as promised). He was able to diagnose the issue promptly and got the air running right away. We were not familiar with the controls for the heat pump (recently purchased the townhouse) and although simple for the professional, we didn't know what to do.

Fantastic customer service.
In a time where most companies do not give you the time of day. These folks are a breath of fresh air, going above and beyond the call of duty!

GOOD

They were the only company around that was willing to finance. It was 5 days before Christmas and the weather was below freezing. The owner of the company wanted to do something nice for somebody on his birthday and we were the one's he was nice to. I have recommended Eagle to everybody I know because they are a business with a huge heart of gold!
